Patton Oswalt on Daniel Tosh controversy: 'Obviously, I don't agree with what he said,' but...

EW met up with comedian (and avid comic book fan) Patton Oswalt at The Spreckels Theatre in San Diego to hear how he’s enjoying Comic-Con and get a behind-the-scenes look at how he prepares for the big comedy show he does during the event every year.

We also asked what he thinks of the Daniel Tosh rape joke controversy. His level-headed response: “Obviously, I don’t agree with what he said, and I don’t agree with how he said it, but I think it’s very dangerous to create an atmosphere where people can’t f— up.”

i've said it before and i will say it again, it never fails to amaze me how 'oversensitive' the people who have to live in daily fear of something horrible like this happening to them always get, versus the people who are in far less danger of said occurrence happening to them (in this case, men in danger of being gang-raped) who clearly have this excellent and sharp perspective about what is truly funny and what type of humour helps us grow as people!!!1111
