I sort of did. It was Kingdom of Heaven and it was me, my friend, and this one random man two rows ahead of us, and this is when we were 13 in the height of our Orlando Bloom obsession, so we just had freak outs every time he was on screen and I'm pretty sure the guy wanted to throttle us.

I watched Drive in a theater with four other people. it was like i was watching home alone.

I always wait weeks after a movie comes out. The theater's empty because everyone's seeing the new movies. It's awesome.

me and my friends went to see seabiscuit when it came out when we were like 9/10 and the cinema was empty.

My friend and I went to see Baby Mama at like 2 pm on a school/work day and there was no one. It was awesome.

The cheap theater we go to is almost always empty or close to it. People would rather spend more to sit in a crowded theater and pay twice the price for snacks. More for me.

I watched Keanu Reeve's "Hardball" in an empty theatre.

My bf and I saw Battleship in IMAX by ourselves. It was an especially good movie for that because we could make fun of it the whole time.

i've done it with just me and a friend. it was great...laughed and talked and shouted at the characters on screen. :D

my mother, brother and I all went to see brokeback mountain and we were the only people under the age of 60 in there. so basically it was dead silence, because i figured all the older people died from heart attacks when the realized it was a movie about two cowboys in love and not a typical western from their younger years.

I have with my aunt and cousins it was fun as fuck.

I saw a Mary-Kate and Ashley movie with just me and my friend in the theater.

There was also another time I was watching a aimed at teen girls movie where my friend and I were the only people in the theater with a 40+ year old man. He sat right in front of us. We really didn't think we were going to make it out alive.

I have and thank god. It was a horror movie, and my friend was yelling at the screen.

I went on a date and it was like that. Made everything so much more fun because we could talk and do whatever the fuck we wanted

I almost did when I saw Watchmen for the second time(like a few weeks after it came out) then a couple came in and I felt awkward lol

I've done it quite a few times. It's more fun with a couple friends because then you can say whatever you want during the movie and not worry about disturbing people.

I sat and watched Black Swan in a totally empty theater (sat in the very middle of stadium seating with no one in front of me and two people in the back on opening day at noon)...it was the most riveting experience.

I have. I was on my own once though so felt reallly awkward the entire time.

With friends is a good laugh 'cos you can talk/analyse the movie as it's going along in a louder voice without annoying anyone.

I love it, I went and saw House Bunny at like 1pm and I was the only one in there, the only problem was the movie started skipping so I had to go out and get them to fix it, the other time I was in an almost empty theater was for The Bodyguard one night only thing a couple months ago it was me and another lady and the movie never started so I had to get someone again and we could hear the dude making fun of the movie ugh lol.

Not a movie, but once my family was at Disneyland and we went to Bear Country just before it closed down. The man at the door insisted that we had to hurry because the show was about to start.

We got in, and the theater was completely empty.

Sometimes even my friends annoy the shit out of me in the movies because I'm there for the film and yet people talk, whisper commentary, or ask questions and I'm all, "FUCK YOUR SOCIAL CONVENTIONS, BITCH, THE MOVIE IS PLAYING" in my head but no one cares. I'm too nice to actually tell anyone off, but I loathe talkers and coughing (DON'T BRING THE MOTHERFUCKING PLAGUE WITH YOU TO THE MOVIE THEATER, SON, THAT'S WHAT CONTAGION SHOULDA TAUGHT YOU) and babies crying in my theater? My friend and I went to see Dude Where's My Car at the dollar theater when we were kids, and it was totally empty except for us. It was fun as hell, tbqh.

omg, i do it all the time. its amazing tbh. i love it. on tuesdays they have a $7 deal thats cheaper than the matinee all day, and i will go by myself and see like 4 movies back to back all at once. its the best eva!!!

When I saw Hairspray, the theatre was empty. At the end of the movie when they reprised You Can Stop the Beat, my friend and I literally just danced.

My friend and I saw Beauty and the Beast in 3D in an empty theater. We talked the whole time and I sang with Belle. It was glorious.

I also love the drive-in because me and the husband can talk non stop. We can bring the baby. AND it's 2 movies for $7.

Saw "The Mist" in a empty theater. It was me and my 2 friends, and this couple in the corner on a date. Halfway through, me and one of my friends start heckling and making fun of the movie, with the couple in back joining too. It was awesome.

My dad used to take us to the movies and let us all see what we wanted. I saw Excess Baggage in an empty theater and it was awesome.

I did twice. It's really awesome having a whole theather to yourselves. You can talk, be silly and not bother anybody. And the best part, no fucking annoying people kicking your chair or bending too far back and hitting your knees.

the only time this has ever happened was with The Mothman Prophecies; me and my family were the only people inside the theater beside this guy who was sitting two rows in front of us. he was wearing Unabomber aviators inside the fucking theater and taxed the fuck out out of my peripheral vision cause i was watching him and the screen

I got to see The Avengers, Thor, Scream 4, and The Hunger Games in empty theatres. PERFECTION.

I have with a guy when we went to watch that Abraham Lincoln Vampire in 3D. We sat in the back row and the usher kept coming in every 15-20 minutes and just standing there watching us. Super awkward. The last 20 minutes some random guy comes in, walks all the way to the back row, squeezes past us and goes to sit further down. So weird

A looong time ago, me and two friends went to see Hamlet 2 (I know, right?) and the fact that we were the only people in the theater was the only thing that made it a fun experince. That movie was awful, but it was fun being as obnoxious about it and we wanted.

I've never seen one in a completely empty theatre, but I've frequently been one of >10 people.

i do it often! mid-day on a weekday usually works for me haha...even if three or four ppl stroll in, it still feels like the movie is just for me ;D
