I certainly hope Jensen's moves on soon, I think he's a very talented actor, but he doesn't look tired to me at all here to me(not to mention why would he, it's the first episode of the season? LOL). He loves when he gets to direct the show and I thought he looked great in these shots. None of them are close ups and he's wearing sun glasses but he love the shorts and he looks good.

I agree. The spoilers are incredibly lame. I was hoping they'd really finally take advantage of the set up but instead it sounds like "same old same old" and worse, it sounds like the Winchester Brothers aren't even at the center of the story, that stupid Keven is(I mean I liked him well enough but I don't want the current mytharc centered around some side character).

Dean hasn't had any character development in 2 years and Sera Gamble even admitted in Season 6 they had to take away character growth he'd made in order to make their plot idea of Soulless Sam work(which it didn't really anyway). It sounds like more of the same.

Spoilers are meant to be misleading, though. Fandom also tends to blow things way out of proportion. I remember everyone thought Cas was FOR CERTAIN going to die in his seasno 6 centric episode even though there was no real indication of that. They mainly interpreted one of the writers saying "You have to love something before you feel it's loss" as Cas dying but he was simply referring to Cas losing the trust of the boys.

Damn I want Jensen to move into something well written. Especially after finding out that at this point some of the writers have gotten so lazy, they occasionally leave a line blank and just write a note saying something along the lines of 'Jensen, say something Deanish here".

And Gamble admitted as far back as Season 3 that sometimes she knew a line was crap but figured "Jensen'll come up with some way to make it work" and leave it that way.

Hey yeah, nice they have such faith in his abilities but that doesn't change the fact that they aren't doing their jobs. Ackles still does a good job turning dross into gold when the writing is crappy but he is so fantastic when he actually gets really good writing to work with, he really shines.

How about you just stop watching it and leave those of us who still want to alone? Everyone wins!
