Gossip Girl Spoilers: Snapped! Season 6 First On-set Filming Photos

For almost two months of a no Gossip Girl hiatus, I can’t help but feel that you may be a little underwhelmed this summer. But hey, cheer up! Our favorite Manhattan elites may be MIA this time of year, but they are certainly cooking something really good for season 6. Want proof? Check out these photos from superfan David Schwitzer.

The set of images shows Leighton Meester, Blake Lively and the boys — Ed Westwick, Chace Crawford and Penn Badgley looking all fresh and sexy on thier first day of filming the final season.

However, in another filming news, OLV also reported that Gossip Girl shooted for a wedding scene in New York. TV Line spilled hints about the high-possibility of Blair and Chuck ringing wedding bells in early season 6.

hm okay i see what you mean, i don't think it necessarily shows it as normal/love though, at least when i watch it i can see it as chuck being the same asshole he has always been to blair (and other girls/friends), and how sad it is for blair to be stuck in some hell hole.

The show wants to think that it's an epic love story, though. But meh, i'm done getting mad about it lol.

The show doesn't call it what it is, though, and pretty much says it's okay to treat the person you supposedly love horribly and do terrible things to them as long as you do some grand gesture with material things. They promote the idea that this is okay and it's okay to accept abuse and control and had Blair, BLAIR, in a position in the finale where she apparently never supported him and the reason things were always bad for him was her fault (an idea pushed through the seasons, tbh).

They say it's epic!! and passionate love that can't be denied, but it sends a horrible message when guys like Dan/Rufus lose out to the Bart men.

So do I, but we probably have more life experience/common sense than a lot of the very young people who watch the show though.

I don't think anyone on the show tells Blair to get out, though. In fact they support the relationship and keep Chuck in their lives.
