Once Upon a Time creators Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis have revealed which fairy tale characters will appear in season two.
The ABC fantasy drama will introduce a version of The Little Mermaid's Ariel, as well as both the title character and the villainous Jafar from Aladdin, according to TV Guide.
Series star Lana Parrilla (Regina Mills / the Evil Queen) recently told Digital Spy that she wanted season two of Once Upon a Time to introduce characters from The Little Mermaid.
Horowitz and Kitsis also confirmed that they are eager to cast Lost actor Jorge Garcia on the show.
Garcia previously starred in Fox sci-fi drama Alcatraz, but the series was axed following a single season in May.
Once Upon a Time will return this fall on Sundays at 8/7c on ABC. In the UK, the series airs on Channel 5.

I've been trying to think of actresses that would be good as Ariel. Someone on tumblr suggested either Deborah Ann Woll, Candice Bailey, or Felicia Day, and also Naveen Andrews as Aladdin.

plus she's great at acting like an annoying teenager haha.
I can think of plenty of shows that have had underwater scenes.
now that i've seen felicia outside of eureka, i think she's okay enough, but still. dnw.
i'm mainly interested in seeing jamie chung as mulan. i haven't watched this show aside from the pilot, but i think i'll tune in for mulan's eps.
I feel this point is important. :-D

"Kitsis and Horowitz also revealed that due to rights issues, Peter Pan and Captain Hook probably won’t appear on Once anytime soon."
I felt such a kinship to Ariel when I was a kid because we both have red hair and blue eyes. Lame. LOL.
