Yesss, when I was a lifeguard we had to clean the drains on the deck and it wasn't the globs of hair or the enormous spiders that scuttled out that freaked me out the most--it was the long, thick, YELLOW toenail clippings these old guys would leave everywhere. idk what it was about our rec center that made them want to clip their toenails but dear Jesus I almost barfed a few times.
mario_06 was totally on point in that her tweet was more sexist (in its derision of men doing traditionally "feminine" things) than homophobic (in that it made no suppositions about the guy's sexuality), but... u tried it, I guess.
So true. Only guy I know of who gets pedis is a straight DJ on local talk radio. His two female coanchors talked them up so much he went and got one and said he loved it and will be back.
My younger brother was captain of the football team, and came in second in state for discus. He also enjoys the occasional pedicure, sometimes with his girlfriend.
My brother and the guy I'm sort of seeing right now are both ridiculously metro. Sometimes I'm just like "..ehh..." Which can be expected, especially if it's someone I'm dating. But I respect it, and they are better looking than anyone in the room when they walk in.
Plus it's so relaxing, men who don't get them because they think it's "girly" are missing out. Unless they are ticklish, of course.
Nothing wrong with a person who wants to take care of their nails.
It's more sexist to me.
and also who the hell cares? fuckin twitter police.
"Oh no Wendy Williams said something offensive!"
What the hell else is new?
So much fucking ignorance.
