I keep finding these medium-sized red spiders with a sac as a butt all over my bathroom. I've never seen them before and of course googling "red spider sac" brings up a billion results so I don't know what the fuck they are.
On a Sunday (they only do it then), go to Camden, and then go to the Spread Eagle pub. It has a roast (for 2 people) that will BLOW. YOUR. MIND. it is the perfect British roast, with either a whole chicken or a pile of roast beef, Yorkshire pudding, vegetables, stuffing and a large boat of gravy. It is perfection.
Also, if you like fashion go to Berwick Street in Soho (easy to get to from oxford Circus), there are a load of really good clothes shops that sell vintage and design for cheap. I got an Alexander McQueen skirt there for £70, but they do loads of way cheaper stuff too. I've seen really good jackets there for £20.
Also, you should visit Brick Lane. They have Loads of awesome stuff of every kind. On one day you should visit the natural history musueum, and the V&A as they are literally like 50m away from each other and both flawless. The British Museum is also amazing too.
That's cool! That's what I did on my toes. And I had it done at the nail salon, I can't paint my nails that perfect if my life depended on it. But it was my design! :)
Question for European ONTD'ers or well-traveled ONTD'ers... I'm planning on taking a Euro vacay to London, France, Italy, Greece, Spain and possibly Austria. I was wondering if anyone who lives/has been to any of these places has recs for attractions to see, places to stay, food to eat before I die?
I'm gonna c/p this from what I said above, this is for London: On a Sunday (they only do it then), go to Camden, and then go to the Spread Eagle pub. It has a roast (for 2 people) that will BLOW. YOUR. MIND. it is the perfect British roast, with either a whole chicken or a pile of roast beef, Yorkshire pudding, vegetables, stuffing and a large boat of gravy. It is perfection.

On one day you should visit the natural history musueum, and the V&A as they are literally like 50m away from each other and both flawless. The British Museum & the National portrait Gallery are amazing too. All our museums & galleries are free (bar one or two specific exhibitions) so they're awesome.
i recommend the island of paros! santorini is beautiful but so touristy. if u stay in athens at all, this is a great reasonably priced hotel in a fantastic area: http://www.hotel-nefeli.com/ at least it was reasonably priced when i was there in '09 :) have fun!
Where are you going in France, Italy and Austria? i'd probably be better if you named the towns you were going to or have you decided?
Austria is really really beautiful - you should definitely go! If you do go you should go to one of the mountainy places like Kitzbuhel or Zell Am See (I don't think I got those spellings right at all) The sights are incredible and I found the towns and the houses to be really unique. they were like something from a fairy tale, On sundays, they all go to mass in tradition gear like leather hossen. They also make great sausages (may seem random but they have so many different types!!) Vienna and Salzburg (such a pretty city) were also great. You can see where they filmed sound of music, the house where Mozart was born. Also go see the Glaciers! I'm kinda in love with Austria.
Venice is definitely a must aswell if you go to Italy!! Lake Garda and Tuscany ( I stayed near Florence) were really good too in Italy (they were completely different to each other.)
My advice for London would be to avoid Madame Tussauds - it's a bit shit and overpriced and the queues outside are ridiculous.
probably shitty advice - I'm having trouble remembering exact details.
Well, when I went to England, I had a cupcake at the Hummingbird Bakery in Notting Hill, and it was legit the best cupcake I've ever had. And the outside of the store looks so cute. Apparently the one in Notting Hill is the original store but there are other spots in London as well:
highlikemeneed to vent a little — 6th-Jul-2012 11:19 pm (UTC)
Okay so I was friends with this girl for 14 years. we were like super best friends. and she wasn't the nicest friend either, she always said little comments to me and made me feel like shit, but i have no other close friends so i put up with it (also she's my sister in law). one night she just went OFF on me about how i never spent my income tax money on her and all this bullshit. so about a month after that i decided to write her on fb and just let her know how i feel about everything she had done to me, to get everything i was holding in, out. it was like two pages in microsoft word lol and all she put was a paragraph saying, and this is copied and pasted, "The only thing in this whole mess that I feel like I did wrong was mention in our last conversation the drug usage. Everything else I have no clue where you got it from, but nor does it matter. You can feel the way you want to feel but I will not apologize for something I do not feel I did wrong. I wish you nothing but the best and happiness." (also yes, i was on drugs YEARS ago and she always brought it up) i was just like REALLY?! after ALL that, that's all you have to say?! i never asked her for an apology, i just wanted her to hear me out. but of course not. that bitch is never wrong. and i'm obviously a mental patient for making years of shit up.
sorry this is so long, i just needed to tell someone.
Why would she get mad at you for not spending your money on her? It sounds like you have your life together now and it's better off that she's not your toxic friend anymore.

basically sounds like a recent friendship of mine that went down the drain girl's ego exploded and developed a massive entitlement complex she was trying to tell me what to do in my relationship acted as if she was a better teacher than me, criticising my lesson plans and activity ideas
whenever i tried to talk to her, she would legit respond with "oh i just got more awesome" and "you just can't handle how awesome i am"
the breaking point, was when i made a facbeook status with a hashtag in it for jokes. then 15 min later she makes a fbook status saying "dear everyone. this is facebook, not twitter. hashtags are for twitter. blah blah blah"
so i made a passive aggressive comment on it then made my status "dear everyone, when you make a passive aggressive status, make sure it's obvious who it's targeted towards"
then she messages me saying that not everything is about me and blahblah IT'S MORE THAN A FUCKING COINCIDENCE YOU DUMBASS
OK ONTD, I'm coming back stateside tomorrow and have a pretty epic hookup planned next tuesday with a guy I slept with a couple of times before I left and got really, really graphic with over email/chat while I was gone. Problem? I have no idea what to wear. I know it'll only be on for 2.5 seconds, but we are both fashion nerds so its important. The tone for the evening is going to be refined, but kind of kinky. Suggestions?
Stupid Chopped marathon.
If this opens back up, you should register: http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/gregjames/f
I also hear that the tour of the BBC TV Centre is fun.
Have a blast! Are you going for vacation?
It is perfection.

I've just realised that most of the jobs I've been applying for over the past 6 months don't actually even fucking exist
Fucking hate agencies that put out bogus ads just to get larger numbers of candidates to distribute. Shady and unethical as fuck
Any help is appreciated! :)

I am SO much better without her. I think I'm just mad at myself for taking this long to see it.
