New Teen Wolf Promo, News...and Speculation Discussion?
If MTV’s teen drama Teen Wolf is renewed for a third season, the show will make the move from Atlanta to Los Angeles.
Rodney Ho of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution confirmed the report over the weekend with Georgia Film, TV and Film, Music & Digital Entertainment office spokeswoman Stefanie Paupeck:
California offers tax credits, like Georgia, but limits them to a certain dollar amount. Since there is far more demand than supply, the state holds a lottery.
MTV and MGM, the production companies that make “Teen Wolf,” put in for the lottery – and won. So “Teen Wolf” is going Hollywood for a likely third season. (The show is averaging 1.7 to 1.8 million viewers in its first run so far, comparable to season one. Though MTV has not said so, a renewal is likely.)
Despite what has been said by Georgia officials, an MTV spokeswoman said a final decision has not been made on a location, though that may be because they haven’t squared everything yet in California.
There is a hassle factor to move mid-run. They have to find new crew members and build new sets. Plus, the California credits aren’t quite as generous as those in Georgia.
But Warner Brothers clearly had its reasons to make the move and not turn down those credits. The fact is: most of the creative types (the writers, the producers, the main actors) live in Los Angeles and would prefer to stay there if possible.
Since Teen Wolf is based in a fictional northern California town, it’s only fitting the series is headed west.

So Jackson's cray, there's a restraining order (how exactly does that work during school), and Derek's wolf pack may soon be less one member.
But this is mostly just an excuse to discuss potential Lydia development. Is she hallucinating? Who is this blue-eyed kid giving her flowers? INQUIRING MINDS WANT TO KNOW.
Or at least that's what wikipedia tells me, and when has it ever lied?
Also, did the guidance counselor misinterpret "master" on purpose? There's something off about her.
I feel bad for Lydia. Allison was a complete bitch to her last episode. I was rewatching season 1 and was reminded of the episode where they show her crying in the mirror and then reapplying her makeup like everything is okay.
She should murder them all.
They really need to clue Lydia in and Alison really needs to reassess her priorities. Best friend attacked by crazy Alpha or teen love?

Also I hope Jackson somehow survives this season, Colton's angsting is just so delicious. And I demand more Sterek scenes, Alison alone and Scott/Denny.

And it kills me that ppl are treating Jackson like a precious flower just because he shed a tear in a truck and he's adopted and is emotionally stunted and is turning into weird creatures in the night. Maybe I am a cold hearted bitch but everyone has got problems and being adopted into a loving family (as the root issue) isn't the end of the world. Yes I know there are way more issues in play but still does he have to treat everyone in the world like shit?(excluding Danny because everyone luvs danny!)
I know Jackson treats himself like "he is never good enough" but its chiefly his whole behaviour towards Lydia has left me feeling sick. Lydia is HBIC on the show but the moment she has a scene with Jackson lately she is left crying and shattered. She had a fugue state and is being haunted by Peter's ghost but she is doing as best she can and limiting the amt of bitchy to a normal level. Maybe he is being controlled by some master but I am disheartened by the amount of Jackson/lydia shippers that stan for that shit.
Sorry for the amt of wordage but the amount of bullshit on tumblr about Stiles mouthing off about Jackson (who he thinks is the sole threat and has murdered people right in front of Stiles and whom Stiles thinks stalked him a pool to kill him for 2 hours) is amazing. Stiles doesn't know that Jackson might not be responsible for the deaths and he doesn't know Jackson has *feelings*.
God I have a lot of feelings for an Mtv show. What the hell is wrong with me. And I have read soo much about Tom cruise on ONTD rn that Jackson is reminding me of him with the perfectionist qualities. And all of this is in praise of Colton Haynes acting because I still feel sympathetic towards the character in moments when I haven't turned into the biggest Jackson hater EVER! I know TL;DR but I had to get it out there. Feelings I have them.

It confuses me that people took that line so seriously. I don't think he meant it at all, and like you say he said the same about Derek but he held him up in a pool for two hours, so.
I don't hate Jackson, but seeing the aggressive way he treated Lydia just a couple episodes ago, and the general way he's always acted toward her, I don't care how much he might secretly, truly love and care her about her, it's not okay.
IKR this show wasn't supposed to give me so many feels WTF. Screw you Jeff Davis, you magnificent bastard.

Nail on head, bb. Stiles has no reason to feel sympathy for a guy who's not only been a complete douchebag to him throughout high school, but who he thinks is responsible for killing multiple people, paralysing him and making him watch a guy be crushed to death, and nearly killing himself and Derek by drowning.
Poor Jackson. So misunderstood. Fuck that. Kanima or not, he's been a douche to pretty much every character on this show.
