Jimmy Kimmel makes fun of KFC Philippines Cheese Top Burger




KFC Phils. has unveiled their new Streetwise value meal called the Cheese Top Burger. Like the name suggests, the burger has cheese on top of its burger bun.

The whole idea for this is really stupid imo, but some people find it a bit racist. What do you think, ONTD?

Well having visited Manilla a couple of times and worked with Phillipines in the Middle East, I can say they got some next level fast food.

Shout out to anyone who is even remotley familar with Jobliee, which is some fast food chain out there (also has a couple franchises out in the Middle East cause of the big filipino expat communities there)

They serve Pineapple and egg hamburgers on the regular. It's just different I guess. I guess they like to remix it up and stuff but it would be too much for me to take lol

all fast food places in different countries serve different things on their menus to cater to the tastes of the people in the country

last time i was in the philippines, they had rice at kfc and topped the chicken with gravy and mushrooms

I'm Filipino and laughed my ass off at the parody. What a non-issue. There are way more weirder food in the Philippines tbh.

lol so my brother works in KFC Phils. marketing and this isn't his project, but he knows the people who conceptualized this, andthey're basically having a laugh about this whole thing. Publicity is still publicity :))Also, no one has gotten fired because of this yet, jsyk :))

I waited a while to watch this because Kimmel is always pulling racist shit. I guess it wasn't too bad. Kinda funny. I see the issue with it though.

Also, the guys in the original commercial are really cute.

I love seeing how American chains are different in other countries. It all has a little flavor from the country you're in. McDonald's in another country is not the same as in the US.
