First a VERY short recap of last week's dates:

Taylor and Sonya: a hip hop dance class date led to an exchange of phone numbers.
Rocco and Lexi: dinner, but no spark.
Warren and Shakyra: argued (but like an old married couple), karaoked, and promised to keep in touch.
Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and Laura: they've been texting since, and she might visit him on Jersey Shore.


This week's celebrities, as introduced by host Cat Deeley, are women. They are model and (arguable) actress Carmen Electra, Australian model and actress Sophie Monk, Playboy’s Hope Dworaczyk and 2010 Miss USA Rima Fakih.



Round One

Brant is first, he is a southern gentleman and a personal trainer. He says that thinks he looks like Ricky Martin (Hope immediately turns around at this). Sophie also turns around, and he picks Hope.

Shane then comes out with and serenades the women, a new idea. Carmen turns around right away (later she says she loves a man that plays guitar, but notes that it was a very small guitar). Then he goes on to say that he is also a veteran of the Air Force and would treat a woman like a princess. Rima and Sophie turn around also. Sophie says it's because since Carmen is so "fussy" Shane has to be great, but despite Sophie saying he will probably pick Carmen, he picks Sophie.

Next up is Gabriel, from Michigan. A college athlete, he adds that he is an infantry officer in the Reserves. Rima and Sophie turn their chairs around. Sophie also does a great job saying he should pick her because she is very easy - easy-going that is). He ends up picking Rima.

John is from England and is a professional pastry chef and knows three languages and has been skinny-dipping on all seven continents. Sophie and Rima turn around. Rima disses his sideburns, but as Cat reminds her, John has the power. He ends up with Sophie (their accents got both of them, we assume).

R.J. is up next. He says he runs his family's multi-million dollar luxury RV company (impressive considering the economic downturn), adds that family is important to him and he wants to show the girls "what love is all about." Carmen is the only one to turn around (at the last second); she gets him on her team by default. Rima adds that she's an idiot for not turning around.

David comes out wearing a fedora (which doesn't matter since they can't see him). He says that whatever they want, he's got it: brains, looks, and class. Sophie is the only one that turns around (because she said he sounded like a cowboy) and now she has all three guys in her dating pool.

Garrison comes out and says that he is cuddly. That's probably where is loses him, as no one turns around. Sophie doesn't help by saying "he's totally a geek by the way." But she does help bring laughs.

Christopher comes out and says "first of all, you(se) are all gorgeous." All three girls turn around. He ends up picking Carmen. (I need a gif of Rima telling him to call her - LOL)

Karim comes out and he actually has a love poem for them, but he runs out of time. Carmen and Rima turn around; he selects Rima.

Marco is a former athlete, has dreadlocks, 6'2" and is half black, half Indian, 100 percent Blindian. Hope is the only one to turn around, so he is on her team by default.

Andrew says that his nickname is Bear, and that's because he is cuddly in addition to everything else (this reference to cuddly doesn't lose the women). He will be their teddy bear tonight. Carmen and Rima both turn around, but he chooses Rima. Unfortunately for him, Rima likes dark guys, and Carmen said she changed her mind. That wasn't a good sign, or was it?

Nicholas grew up on Maui and and loves to cook.. Both Carmen and Hope turn around, but he picks Carmen.

Since the other three women have their three men, Hope is in the final part of round one, a two-guy competition. Joe says that he works at Victoria's Secret while Hermoz says that he "understands women very well." She picks Hermoz.




Round Two: 

Hope: Brant, Marco and Hermoz
Rima: Gabriel, Karim and Andrew
Carmen: R.J., Christopher and Nicholas
Sophie: David, John and Shane

The round consists of 15 seconds with each man, trading questions, with the ladies then opting to eliminate one.

Next up is the speed round where they both get to answer questions to learn as much about each other as they can. Hope's three guys are Brant, Marco and Hermoz. Sophie has David, John and Shane. Rima's guys are Gabriel, Karim and Andrew while Carmen has RJ, Christopher and Nicholas.

They girls now have to pick one guy to send home. We say farewell to Hermoz (Hope), John (Sophie), Gabriel (Rima) and R.J. (Carmen).

Round Three: 

Hope wants to know, "if the two of you fell in love, how would he propose?" Brant says that he would tie in their first date to the proposal to make it sweet and keep it from the heart. Marco says that he would make it meaningful and intimate as possible - possibly by the water.



Hope chooses Brant.

Sophie's question is not really a question but a request. She asks her guys to give her his best celebrity impression? John does Woody from Toy Story ("There's a snake in my boots!"). Shane does his best Elvis impression and uses his hips to prove it. Sophie apparently loves the hips;
she picks Shane.

Rima's question is, "if you were competing in a beauty pageant, what would his talent be and why?" Karim says it would be his walk, which he swaggers. Andrew says that he does tricks with his tongue.


Rima chooses Andrew (surprise) She asks him to pick her up and he carries her to the chair. Remember that she originally dissed him for not being dark!



Carmen's question was "if you were an animal, what would he be and why?" Christopher says he would be a shark, but he has no idea (he knows she likes shark, so that's a lame answer) while Nicholas says he would be a dolphin (arch-enemy of sharks). She loved the spiritual choice, the dolphin.



Then changes her mind half way and chooses Christopher.

- Gabriel - “I protected the president”…probably just covered on shift while the regular guy was sick with the runs.
- Cat needs a new chair turning move. 
- Guy to Carmen: you are looking for the pyscho type and I’m definitely not pyshco.
- The girls were more picky, they changed their mind when they turned around and didn’t hesitate to say so.
- Rima to the Egyptian guy: Your parents will show up to the wedding if you know what I mean.
- HOPE: I’m sweeter than Carmen.
CARMEN: But, I’m better in the bedroom.
The guy chose Carmen.
- WORST DISS: Carmen changing her mind, right after picking, and half way into hugging the guy.
- SIDE EYE FOR THE WEEK: Hope asking the guys how they will propose to her.
- BRAGIEST CONTESTANT: I'm a young entrepreneur and I run my family's multimillion dollar RV company. I'm a very driven individual. I was an Olympic qualifier for the 400metre and I also ran for the University of Florida. My family gave me one of the greatest gifts in my life and I grew up on my family’s yatch and it taught me so many good values about how family is so important to me….
- I think the girls were a lot more brutal than the guys and they weren’t even trying to be funny with it. Although they seemed more bonded and open than the guys....maybe because they weren't shopping for beards.
