I'm not as excited for the viral marketting etc. but the feedback so back from test screenings is that the movie is close to a "masterpiece". I don't know how true that is but it's not going to be a complete mess...
While he does an excellent job of tying themes together throughout movies, and keeping things simple and basic and creating an emotional response, that's about all that he's good at. While I appreciate the work that he's done on the Dark Knight, his composing has done very little evolving over the years, and by and far sounds very much so the same.
If doing very little evolving as an artist and rehashing the same musical parts over and over is "Talent" I have some shit I wrote during my composition classes before I quit music school to sell you.
IA. He seems great when you listen to some of his soundtrack, but when you listen closely to all of his work, it's all the same thing over and over again.
I hope Marion's role is significant. They can promote Catwoman all they want but I'm still not interested, and it has nothing to do with Anne. That line in the trailer, "my mother warned me about getting into cars into strange men" is cringeworthy. I don't think the character fits well w/ Nolan's version of Batman.
IKR, I really hope Anne makes a great Catwoman but so far I fail to see any chemistry between her and Bale.(that dance part was 'cringeworthy')I always loved Catwoman's interactions with Batman (I remember I found Michelle's 'kiss' to Batman very sexy even when I was a kid) but these two just don't give me that vibre.
