Zayn's Dad Responds to the Writer Who Accused his Son of Pimping Islam
Zayn Malik is Muslim, so he's probably pretty happy that Hollywood has embraced the keffiyeh, a scarf that Muslims all around the world wear. It's a practical garment that covers heads from the sun and mouths from sand blowing in the wind, but some celebs have decided that they like the way it looks and have started wearing it to make a fashion statement.

Perhaps Zayn was doing just this when he was photographed wearing the piece of cloth. Whatever the case, the keffiyeh set off conservative blogger Debbie Schlussel. She called the scarf "the official garb of Islamic terrorism." However, what Debbie fails to see is that terrorists probably would not want to be associated with Zayn—they would despise his music and the way he's embraced a Western lifestyle. And it's also extremely hard to imagine Zayn being a fan of terrorist ideals because of the life he has chosen for himself.
But that perhaps Debbie Schlussel saw the fuss that was made about Rachel Ray wearing a similar scarf a few years back and thought she would start a similar ruckus about Zayn's keffiyeh. She also accused him of "pimping Islam" and warned parents of One Direction fans to keep their daughter's away from Zayn Malik's "enticing jihad." Directioners might agree that Zayn's a pimp, but they probably don't feel like he's trying to convert them to Islam.
Debbie has taken her attacks on Zayn just a little too far, because Zayn's Pakistani dad has decided to stand up for his son. According to CelebrityFix, he tweeted this to the blogger:
"Debbie the racist b----."
"Oh, so your [sic] the dumb b---- who's giving my son grief?!"
Some people might not think that it's right for Zayn's dad to get involved, but parents of Christian teens would probably be just as angry if a blogger called their kid out for wearing a cross or tweeting a prayer, especially if the writer tried to imply that their kid supports terrorism.
Debbie Schlussel was probably trolling by attacking a member of One Direction, a band that gets tons of press, and she's likely thrilled by the attention she's been getting. She's now playing the victim by writing about how she's received death threats from "low-class, young female fans who have sewers for mouths." If she really wanted to anger Directioners, she should have just claimed that she's dating Zayn.
Hopefully Zayn Malik and his dad will just ignore bloggers like this since responding to them is giving them exactly what they want. People like Debbie attack others for being of a different color, faith, or political affiliation because their readers are scared of anyone who isn't like them and want to feel justified in the way they think, and they can always get more attention when they direct their hate towards a celebrity. Sadly more of Debbie's ilk might come out of the woodworks now that they've seen all the publicity she's getting for attacking a member of One Direction.
So what do you think, should Zayn's dad have responded to Debbie, or is she just going to attack him even more now that she's getting a response? And don't you think that it's a little sad that she's resorted to complaining about teen boy band members to get attention?

Uncle Simon Forced Demi Lovato and One Direction’s Niall Horan To Fall In Love
Simon Cowell knows how to brand and we are thinking that he rigged the romance between Demi Lovato and Niall Horan. Ah, the soothing sound of manipulation. How wonderful are you not? Niall Horan became famous on the UK X Factor by being in a little group you might have heard of, called One Direction? Yes, one of the biggest boy bands of our generation, taking over the world quicker than trash television,

One Direction has achieved worldwide fame due to their male model looks and catchy, albeit cheesy, pop tunes. Was it only fitting then, that Niall Horan ended up with Demi Lovato, who is currently the judge on the X Factor USA? Celeb Dirty Laundry decided to investigate and we are exclusively digging up the dirt on this power showmance.
Simon Cowell knows a brand when he sees one. The man has made more people famous than Youtube, so, it is a rather bizarre coincidence that his multi-million dollar One Direction machine churned out a relationship with his latest judge on The X Factor USA, which suffered from lower than expected viewership figures for its premiere season. Simon knows the entire world is watching One Direction’s every move and he needs to get a boost for his talent show or otherwise it goes bust and Simon sits with a big fat pie on his chiseled face.
Do the math, readers – Niall plus Demi equals the entire world catching a weekly glimpse of Niall’s GF. It is an almost perfect symbiosis of reality and television. We have to say, Simon Cowell might be an acid tongued bitch, but he is an acid tongued bitch genius.
In a recent interview, just as One Direction started taking over the charts, Niall confessed to an interviewer that he is “unlucky in love”, yet at the end of the interview there were alleged rumors of a friendship between Niall Horan and Demi Lovato, with his mom all of a sudden giving a blessing. Either his mom is a fame whore like Kate Middleton’s mom, or she had too much Kool Aid. You know what is even stranger? This interview was released late May, about two weeks after Demi Lovato was officially confirmed as an X Factor USA judge.
It could be that these two have been friends for a while, but all the coincidental evidence points to Simon Cowell’s master plan – making Demi Lovato and Niall Horan “fall in love”.
Is it fake? Is it real? The relationship has Simon Cowell’s mercenary Midas-like fingerprints all over it. You have the comments below to voice your opinion. Look at all the evidence and decide for yourself.
Boys Flee From Frisky Fans’ Mums Who “Grab & Pinch”

One Direction are a huge hit with teen girls, but the boys have revealed that they’ve also been forced to flee the advances of some of their fans’ mothers.
The five-piece - Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson - are hugely popular around the world, and have attracted attention from not only everyday girls, but also lovely celebrity ladies such as Katy Perry and Demi Lovato.
And despite their tender years – all of them are under 21 - it seems they have something to offer the more mature female too...
One Direction revealed they were left shocked by the flirtatious antics of some of the fans' mums they encountered during their US tour.
Liam told The Sun: “The mums are fearless. They will grab and pinch and it gets quite tricky.”
But Harry, 18, admits he doesn't mind a slightly older lady – something he’s already displayed, following his fling with 32-year-old TV presenter Caroline Flack last year, when he was aged just 17.
When asked if he’d have a problem getting involved with an older fan, the curly-haired cutie replied: “I would not have a problem as long as they were nice and made me smile.”
Meanwhile, it might be the case that fans’ mums don’t mind the fact the boys aren’t even 21 yet – but security at a number of Las Vegas casinos certainly do.
It’s illegal to drink or gamble under the age of 21 in the States, and the boys were left red-face after bouncers chucked them out as they tried to have a flutter in a number of establishments.
A source told the paper: "The boys were hoping to go wild in Vegas by boozing and gambling into the early hours.
“But security at every casino in town knew who the lads were and threw them out because the legal drinking and gambling age in the US is 21."
"There are pictures of me and Harry Styles": Caroline Flack worried private snaps will be revealed

It's not been a good day for Harry Styles, after reports emerged of his fling with a married women AND his dad admitted he's concerned that the 18-year old has damaged his reputation. And there's him thinking that he was just going to have a quiet Sunday with a bacon butty.
And things could get a little bit worse after another ex of the One Direction star - Caroline Flack, you may know her - told friends she's worried private pictures of them together could be leaked.
The Xtra Factor presenter, 32, confided to three pals at the Radio 1 Hackney Weekend and was overheard saying: "There are pictures of me and Harry Styles when we were together."
Caroline added: "I hope they don't get shown about."
Now, does anyone else think it's weird that she referred to her ex by his full name? ANYWAY...
Caroline didn't reveal any details of what the private snaps may have featured or who has these (potentially amazing) snaps.
Despite her worries, Caroline got over them with a tried and tested method - beer, burgers and a bottle a wine that she ordered for her and her mates.
She also held her beer up and said to her friends: "I really need this beer" which made us love her a bit.
Caroline also admitted her feelings for One Direction's rival boyband The Wanted (CONTROVERSIAL) revealing her favourite member is Jay.
"They've all got cute faces but I like Jay," she said. "He's really cute."
Harry's father, Des, today said that he was against their relationship, telling The People he thought the age gap was 'ridiculous'.
"32 or whatever she was and Harry 17," he said. "That's a bit extreme."
After her food, Caroline skipped off to the mainstage and danced to Nicki Minaj who performed in a skin-tight catsuit before suffering a wardrobe malfunction when her outfit ripped to expose part of her bum.
