The Wanted: 'Britney seems bored with fame'

The Wanted's Tom Parker has said that he feels sorry for Britney Spears because she seems to be jaded by fame.

Parker met the 30-year-old 'Toxic' singer on the Manchester leg of her 'Femme Fatale' tour, where his band were the support act.

"Britney's beautiful and a nice girl, but when we met her, I expected her to have more personality," he told TOTP magazine. "I feel sorry for her 'cos she's had a lot of stress in the last five years, and she's done so much from a young age."

"I guess it's the same with Nathan," he added, referring to bandmate Nathan Sykes, who started performing at the age of 6. "He started young and I'm sure in ten years, if we're still going, he's going to be like, 'When is this going to end?'"

The Wanted recently refused to apologize for calling Christina Aguilera a "bitch" following their encounter with the singer backstage at the US version of The Voice.
