Atleast he admits to it. Katy does too when something she does or wears is inspired by someone else. I can't even be mad. Better than pretending it's all original ideas unique to him and Katy or something.

I went to an exhibition yesterday of American contemporary artists and the first room I walk in has a painting of Katy Perry and then I find out he (Will Cotton) was the artistic director of the California Girls music video, which was playing in the room. It was all very bizarre.

I want to go see that so badly! Will Cotton has always been one of my favorite artists and seeing the original Teenage Dream portrait would be amazing.

Her stylist is hot but he's so bad at styling her.

I feel like this movie is unnecessary, though, and just a last ditch effort to squeeze more money out of this never-ending era. I guess we'll see how well it does...

Seriously. We live in the world of THS (which stopped being about scandals and meltdowns years ago) and Behind the Music. We are saturated with "get to know the star behind the scenes!" shit. Like fuck if I'm paying money to essentially watch promotional material.

I can't imagine this will do well. Yes she broke records with how many hits she had on the album, but that's because they were radio friendly and songs people blast in their car. Not everyone who jams to California Girls will care to see this.

There's a lot of "katy cats" in the world... probably won't be like Never Say Never, but concert movies don't do too terribly... oh well. I don't care how it does, all I know is I'd like to see it.

I saw an ad for this a few days ago and just loved all the bright colors and crazy costumes/sets but I don't know if I'd really want to watch a doc on her, I don't mind Katy Perry, but I dunno, maybe if it was more behind the scenes with the crew and such.
