Someone suggested an alternate version of the end scene from the first one; instead of little Boo's voice yelling "Kitty!", what if we heard that of a teenager or grown woman?
I was 12 when the first one came out, so it was just on the cusp of it being apart of my childhood but I'm so thankful it was. A perfect children's movie. Actually, a perfect movie period.
i was 11 and i feel the same way. i watched monster's inc while working on my dissertation a few months ago. i still tear up at the end.
whoever dislikes disney is just up their own ass imo. my mum and dad loves some disney films by association of having children. disney animation trump most animations for kids from every generation as the most wonderful part of a childhood. my parent's even agree.
i was 10 and i remember i liked it but it wasn't my favourite movie at the time. it's still not necessarily a favourite, but i watch it once in awhile and thoroughly enjoy it.
I got to see a early showing and the bad reviews are really unwarranted tbh. I feel like because its not super abstract like other Pixar movies, people are going to roll their eyes at a Mother-daughter movie.
what i've gathered is that visually it's pixar's best movie to date, but story-wise it just doesn't compare to some of their more unconventional ideas (up, wall-e, ratatouille). maybe for a pixar film it falls short of expectations, but i bet if it were dreamworks or something people wouldn't be as harsh. whatever, i'm still excited to see it and hopefully gonna see it opening day/weekend.
This was cute. I'm warming up to the idea of this prequel. I LOVE the original so much. I'm pretty sure I was about 21 when I saw it but I bawled like a baby.
probably the prospector from toy story 2. i think that was the first time i'd seen a "good" character be revealed as an antagonist. that and ts2 is just my favourite movie.
Hopper. He was fucking flawless. When I went to Disney World, and went to the Bugs Life show, he made all the children cry. It was golden. Also, Kevin Spacey.
i saw qt fanart of grown up boo who had become an animator and her characters were the monsters she'd met, i wish i could find it

Basically on how it's uninspired and doesn't really take any risks in storytelling.
i mean it's sitting at a 71% on rotten tomatoes rn, so at least it's faring better then cars 2.
Your icon. My favorite new character in Toy Story 3.
I feel Pixar didn't really made an effort with Brave :/
P.S. Am I the only one who thought of Sims 2 University when they saw the title? My favorite expansion pack.
that and Monster High.
Mine is Sid from Toy Story. He was so sadistic with how he found it entertaining to dismember toys.
Sid is definitely the most memorable villain from the Pixar branch.
Not technically a villain though, I guess.
I didn't know they were creating a prequel, IDK they should really just leave Monsters, Inc.
