which sucks because that's batman's thing. it makes sense for batman to be dark and gritty but spiderman and superman are NOT that kind of spirit/atmosphere
YESSSSSSSSSS. It also sucks because that's Nolan's batman thing. This dark grittty tone that they are all copying is really more NOlan's version of Batman and how he writes the characters. I guess Spiderman kinda can get it, but for sure not Superman!!! Superman deserves more of an epic saviour feel, like Lord of the Rings.
Its funny looking back when Spider-Man went first into production, everybody was pretty much anti-camp and fanboys were celebrating for the new ~darker direction.
