Meet & Greet with fans outside the Hyatt Hotel after she touches down in Sydney









Her changing hairstyles are legion, and the world's most famous claw-nailed chanteuse didn't disappoint with her latest grand entrance in Australia last night.

Wearing a dramatic floor-length beaded gown, Lady Gaga touched down at Sydney's private jet base for the next leg of her Born This Way Ball tour.

Making a grand entrance for fans at the harbourside Hyatt Hotel, the mega-star's look was dominated by a 1940s-inspired wig comprised of voluminous green 'Victory Rolls'.

The quintessential 1940s hairstyle was named after manoeuvres performed by victorious planes in World War II.

The popular style was worked by starlet Betty Grable, among others.

The complicated hairstyles were worn to offset the fabric rationing that forced austere clothing for women of the time.

But there was nothing austere about 26-year-old Gaga's costume as she greeted her adoring fans yesterday.
