I can't help myself...I really, really judge every one of my facebook friends (mainly people I went to high school with) who are making posts about how good these books are. They feel the same way about Twilight. I just wish they would expand their literary horizons.

I try to comfort myself with the idea that by "good" they mean entertaining and not well-written. There are plenty of technically well-written stories that aren't very entertaining and vice versa. It's just a matter of what's entertaining to them vs. you, you know?

I get SO angry every time I read a 50 Shades post on my fb feed. Morons, all of them.

Thank God I haven't run into that problem yet. One of my fb friends from hs did proudly state she voted for Mitt Romney but she's always been kinda dumb so I expected that.

Thankfully I don't have that much stupidity on my feed. The one guy that pissed me off a while back is no longer a "friend".

I judge every single person in the world who likes this filth.

Two of my friends never read Twilight and think it's crap, but they LOVE these books. I don't understand. Though I did enjoy telling them that it's Twilight fan fiction. One of them says that tainted the books a bit.

I've told this to like 5 people and they're all like, "no - no way. It's way better." ::face palm::

lol whenever someone tells me they are interested in reading this series I immediately tell them that it started as Twilight fan fiction and that shuts them up.

one of my friends is all up in this book trilogy, and I can't. i love her but no. she keeps recommending them on fb like they're amazing and it saddens me.

If I can be judged for being a Hanson fan, I can judge every single person who loves these books.

I can't help it either. My blood just boils and I keep telling myself to get over it and stop taking this shit so seriously but dammit man.

My best-friend's aunties girlfriend told her that it was the most amazing thing she has ever read in her life and that she often had to cross her legs when reading it.

smh.

I know one of my friends is an English teacher who without fail always corrects my grammar etc. and she was defending the books to me and I was like...what? But she loved Twilight too so I'm not too surprised.

I got so excited when my friend posted about wanting to make a book club. Then she said the first book was going to be 50 shades of grey and I just turned my computer off.

I kinda feel the same way tbh, my friend was just telling me the other day that she couldn't get enough and ordered the next two books and I HAD TO TRY RIDICULOUSLY HARD not to judge her to death :/
