Though Lea Michele and Cory Monteith walked the red carpet separately, they were inseparable once inside Saturday’s 11th Annual Chrysalis Butterfly Ball sponsored by Audi, Grey Goose, Kayne Anderson and smartwater.  Michele wore a patterned pastel gown by Emilio Pucci, featuring an exposed back that showed a little skin.

Though Michele was coy, Monteith wasn’t shy about what they were doing at the ball. “It’s a bit of a date night, yeah,” he told Marc Malkin.  Michele posed for photos with Ashley Tisdale, a Valentino-clad Jenna Dewan-Tatum and Jamie Lynn Sigler (in Nicole Miller).

With Glee on summer hiatus, Monteith treated himself to a vacation.  ”It was amazing,” he told Malkin at the bash, held at a Brentwood, CA estate.” I drove from here to Vancouver then I went to Tokyo and then I drove back from Vancouver to here.”

Once inside, the lovebirds didn't leave each other's sides. They wrapped their arms around each other and stole some kisses.

Also at the Audi-sponsored affair, which benefited Chrysalis' work to help the homeless and low-income individuals find employment, were Ryan Murphy, Ashley Tisdale, Kim Raver, Sarah Drew, Johnny Knoxville, Colin Egglesfield, Soleil Moon Frye, Eric Dane, Rebecca Gayheart and Whitney Cummings, among many others.
