Are you ready? Charlize Theron shaved her head for Mad Max reboot!


Charlize Theron has had a publicity-packed last few months after adopting a baby boy and appearing in two Hollywood blockbusters: Snow White and the Huntsman and Prometheus! But the blonde bombshell is sure to grab headlines again after getting her head shaved!

Charlize was spotted Thursday dining in West Hollywood with a full buzz cut and ETOnline can confirm the loss of locks is for her new role in Mad Max: Fury Road. The film reboot of the 1979 classic also stars Tom Hardy, who reprises Mel Gibson's original role of Mad Max Rockatansky.

I had my hair cut short (between shoulder and ears) when I was 11 or 12. I'm now 25 and it's JUST starting to touch my bra strap. No power on this earth could get me to cut my hair off then wait another 14 years for it to grow out properly.

Did you get it trimmed a lot in between or something? I got my hair cut to my chin two years ago and it's almost touching my bra strap now.

jesus your hair grows slow! mine grows like an inch a month haha. try pre-natal vitamins, they will make your hair grow faster!

now i'm wondering what direction they've got this movie going in...i love Tom's beard but Charlize bald? unless they've got a specific wig they want her to wear and it looks best sitting on a bald head? i dunno. either way, should be interesting.
