We can all see that Kanye West is totally in love, or others may say infatuated, with Kim Kardashian, but would Yeezy let that infatuation affect his business?
You bet he would!
According to MediaTakeOut.com, a top-notch source (you may now proceed to lol) has told them that Kim Kardashian has convinced Yeezy into hiring her mother, Kris Jenner, as his new manager.
Hold on one second though. Is Yeezy really going to put his career in the hands of a reality show manager? He’s not that crazy — Jenner will allegedly be handling all of his non-music related business only.
The insider Kris Jenner explained,”Kris [Jenner] is amazing in what she can get. If you’re a celeb, she can get you big money for tweeting, for sitting at fashion show, for doing interviews. . . It was an easy sell, Kanye was like ‘sure’.”
But Kris Jenner will reportedly be handling more than just publicity and appearances for Kanye. Kris will be helping Kanye get his DONDA fashion line distributed internationally at major retailers. But you know once she’s in there, Jenner is going to try to take the whole pie! If she has her way, she plans to eventually be managing his touring as well. One thing’s for sure, Kris Jenner knows how to get money!

Diddy Closes Atlanta Restaurant Justin’s
Sean “Diddy” Combs has closed his Atlanta restaurant Justin’s, after 14 years of business. A representative for Bad Boy Worldwide Entertainment Group confirmed the restaurant’s closing to the Atlanta Journal Constitution.
The restaurant was closed so Diddy can “pursue other business ventures in music, television, fashion, fragrance and spirits.” (lol okay)

Stalley thinks he’s being overlooked and he wants everybody to know it.
The MMG rhymeslinger took to his Twitter account earlier today (June 8) and voiced his opinion that his video for “Live At Blossom” was the best clip to drop this week, not G.O.O.D. Music’s “Mercy” or Hit-Boy’s “Jay-Z Interview.”
“I’m tired of holding myself back, I dropped the Best video that came out this week and y’all worried about Mercy or a Jay-Z interview,” Stalley tweeted to the masses.
“I’m disinterested in Mass Media. People say i’m mad, but i’m not this fake person who is always happy and Humble. I’m a Savage. I put everything in my music and i’m really sick of being overlooked. I put out the best two mixtapes in the last two years. No Hype around them, just good music. I’m not hating on any one artist or anyone’s music,” he continued.
But that’s not how others felt. New Orleans producer/rapper Chase N. Cashe took to Twitter to respond and defend his friend, Hit-Boy. “@Stalley It was a bunch of niggas drop videos this year my dawg,” he tweeted.
“You around big names as well just do you and focus up. It’s simple. Hit-Boy is the wrong nigga for people to hate on cuz all that nigga do is show love and keep positive energy around.”
Hit-Boy didn’t take Stalley’s mention negatively, though.
“Stalley just text’d me,” said the producer of Jay-Z and Kanye West’s ‘Ni**as in Paris’ who is trying his hand at rapping.
“Chase always stands up for me when someone speaks but i didn’t even take the tweet the way everyone else did.”
Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music family dropped the video to “Mercy” on Wednesday, before Hit-Boy made his rapping debut with his “Jay-Z Interview” clip and Stalley debuted “Live at Blossom” on Thursday.

Shower Posse Leader Christopher “Dudus” Coke Gets 23 Years In Prison
Jamaican drug Lord Christopher “Dudus” Coke was sentenced to 23 years in federal prison yesterday (June. 8). Dudus was the infamous leader of The Shower Posse, a Jamaican gang well-known within the urban community. The Shower Posse was the subject of several specials, including an episode of BET’s “American Gangster.”
Dudus pleaded guilty to one count of racketeering and one count of conspiracy to commit assault with a dangerous weapon, in aid of racketeering. Federal prosecutors said that Dudus presided over an international drug and weapons trafficking organization, that used a “small army of soldiers” who controlled used violence and intimidation on the streets, for nearly two decades.

D-Roc of Ying Yang Twins Arrested For Marijuana Possession and DUI
D-Roc of the Ying Yang Twins was arrested last week for marijuana possession and DUI, TMZ has learned.
According to the Gwinnett County Police report, D-Roc, real name Deongelo Holmes, was arrested on June 1 in Duluth, Georgia after being pulled over by cops.
According to the police report, obtained by TMZ, Holmes’ eyes were “bloodshot and glazed” and his speech was “mumbled, slurred and slow.”
Holmes also failed a field sobriety test, but was “cooperative and friendly” with officers. The rapper was booked for child endangerment because his two kids, ages 3 and 2 months, were in the car at the time of his violation.

At All Trill Entertainment Rapper Lil Phat Shot Dead in Georgia
Trill Entertainment rapper Lil Phat was shot dead outside of Northside Hospital in Sandy Springs, Georgia on Thursday evening (June 7), Sandy Springs police confirmed to CBS Atlanta.
Lil Phat, real name Melvin Vernell III, was only 19.
Fellow Trill Entertainment MC, Webbie, tweeted out the news of Phat’s murder with sadness and rage. “RIP TO MY LIL BROTHER PHAT!” Webbie said. “LIFE SO FUCKED UP! TRILL4LIFE. YOU STUPID BITCHES THINK DEATH A JOKE UNTIL YOU LOSE SOMEBODY YOU LOVE #RIPLILPHAT. I know my trill fam niggas, they gone ride for me. #RIPLilPhat #Trill4Life.”
Rappers outside of Trill Entertainment also learned of the tragic news and reacted to it timely.

The shooting is still very much being investigated by Sandy Springs police. They arrived shortly after 6:30 p.m. yesterday to report that Phat was shot multiple times in his car on the second floor of the parking deck outside of the Labor and Delivery wing of the hospital.

50 Cent and Oprah put their differences aside on “Oprah’s Next Chapter.”
In another preview from tonight’s episode, the platinum rapper tells Oprah why he named his Miniature Schnauzer after her.
“You know when they say a dog is a man’s best friend?” asked an embarrassed Fif, who also has a cat named after Oprah’s best friend Gayle.
“At the time, I was just looking at the situation and I was developing negative feelings for someone who doesn’t even know me,” he explained. “I gave it to the dog ’cause I was excited about the dog at the time.”
But he has grown fond of the dog and Oprah throughout the years. “I take pictures and say crazy stuff on Twitter, but it would impact because they would associate it with me saying it to you.” He also admits to being in love during the interview, which airs tonight at 9 p.m. on OWN.
