Haha i remember in 8th grade we were learning about joules and my teacher said "not to be mistaken for the singer with the bad teeth, youd think with all her money she could afford to fix them by now." My 13 year old self thought it was rather funny
I never really made the connection that snaggletooth = bad teeth. I mean, as long as the person isn't biting into his/her own cheeks and can, like, chew stuff. I dunno. Is it an American thing?
have you tried just brushing with baking soda? thats supposed to work as a natural whitener. if you have naturally sensitive teeth using whiteners will probably make them even more sensitive. that's why i can't use them, i can't even use toothpastes with whitening agents in them.
I got my teeth fixed as a teen but I lost my retainer and my wisdom teeth fucked them up again and there's a slight chip on my front tooth from a rugby accident. I kind of hate my teeth, but I'm willing to accept them if I get them a little whiter. I should go buy tooth whitener.
Yeah I feel so terrible because I had braces from 6th to 8th grade, and we didn't have dental so I know they cost my mother a fortune, but I could never make myself wear my retainer through high high school and now I'm almost 30 and it's like what was the point even. My teeth aren't crooked so much as I have a gap between my front teeth because when I swallow my tongue always pushes them forward. At least that's what the dentist/orthodontist said. I guess they aren't THAT bad but they could be better.
When I got my braces taken off, the orthodontist said I'd probably need veneers if I wanted them to really look "normal." If I got veneers, though, my mom would probably kill me after paying for them + retainers + sexy head gear, etc. But ya, the gap I had and my overbite were apparently from my tongue pushing on them.
It's not even the remaining tiny gap that bugs me, it's the fact that none of my teeth are the same length. I saw a pic of Miley pre-giant teeth and that is what my teeth look like. Wahhh.

oh that's interesting. i've had braces b/w 6-9th grade, and i don't always wear my retainer, but even when i do, i have a tiny, tiny gap between my two fronth teeth. they're not fully seperated but they're parted on the bottom - you probably can't notice it unless you're really up-close. maybe if i got new retainers it might fix it, but i'm not sure...

Bleh, I had an ex like that...shortly after we broke up he went on a weird, random rant about how the firefighters and police officers who died in 9/11 weren't heroes because they just wanted a paycheck and the REAL HERO is Axle Rose because he had the "courage" to use the n-word in a song.
He ended up deleting it when a mutual friend reminded him that she was trying to become a firefighter, but it was disgusting. Also his uncle (who he got along with) had died in 9/11 (yeah, he was a firefighter) which made the rant even stranger and more awful.
High fives to us for getting away from these dipshits!
like i started with 10 minutes w/ 1 tube on both guards 1 day, and then a few weeks later i did 10 minutes w/1 tube twice.
my teeth are whiter now (not as white as i'd like) but i'm doing them in sets so i don't get sensitivity.
