ashley greene joins CBGB.
Ashley Greene has landed the female lead in indie punk scene drama “CBGB”, named for the famed New York rock club it revolves around, reports Variety. Greene will play Lisa Kristal, eventual business manager of the club and daughter to the club’s owner Hilly Kristal, who will be played by Alan Rickman.

In the script, Kristal is depicted as a fiery young woman who often clashed with her father, but ultimately ends up going to law school in order to help him keep the club. CBGB eventually closed down in 2008, and Kristal, who now controls the estate, is an executive producer on the film. The cast is rounded out by Malin Akerman playing Blondie singer Debbie Harry, Rupert Grint, Johnny Galecki, Stana Katic, Joel David Moore, Peter Vack, Kerry Bische, Taylor Hawkins, Mickey Sumner, Steven Schub and Evan Alex Cole. Randall Miller will direct later this month in Savannah, GA, from a script he wrote with Jody Savin.
Greene is most known for her role as Alice Cullen in “Twilight”, the finale of which, “Breaking Dawn Part II”, wraps up the vampire saga this November. She also has the female lead in horror pic “The Apparition” opposite Sebestian Stan out this September, as well as quirky indie comedy “Butter” opposite Jennifer Garner and Olivia Wilde.

ontd who would you want to play you in a movie?
I have a lot of layers, okay?
I would get Diane Lane to play an older version of me, even though she looks nothing like me (or ScarJo).
we look alike in the sense that we are both white women
....not that I've been meticulously planning this out and searching Imdb or anything creepy like that.
Not just because she's a tiny blonde, and not just because she's a flawless goddess, but because I have her as my desktop background and one time my dad saw it and was like "why do you have a picture of yourself as your background?" It was the nicest thing anyone has ever said about my appearance. /csb
she's younger than me and will have to gain about 50 lbs + grow a couple of inches but we'll make it work
she has a weird face and no presence
hollywood needs to cease and desist
Plus Ashley green was in a flop Miley Cyrus film called "LOL" right? That doesn't sound like shit you ever fully recover from personally or professionally.

Or maybe I used the term incorrectly.
I meant how she was the only one leaving that damn franchise with respect and a career.
she deserves it though!
I think she'll do ok as a model/fashion week seat filler
she is literally the worst.
Sprite is fucking delicious.
This comment is overly passionate.
I worked at CBGB in 2002!
Ashley Greene as Lisa? Bwahahahaha
