By the time my aunt found out she only had a few weeks to live she'd been sick for a few years, so she'd already done a lot of things that she wanted to do. She really spent her final weeks surrounded by her family. All of the siblings, who live like 13 hours away kept driving up in shifts to go stay with her, and they were all with her when she passed, along with her husband and children. I think that's what most people do with the time, surround themselves with their family.
sorry to hear that, bb. :( my aunt has stage four ovarian cancer and they've been doing really aggressive chemo and radiation, but the doctors basically told her all that would do would give her maybe another year tops because the cancer is so far along. she actually really hates it and would rather just not bother with it, but she has a 16 year old daughter, so she's basically going through it to try and live as long as possible for my cousin. i feel so horrible for the both of them. :(
