Even if this movies sounds dull, I still want to see it because Malick is amazing at romantic scenes.

Loki/Sif has kind of been growing on me but that's probably more because of Jaimie Alexander/Tom Hiddleston.

mte in the comics odin actually lets her into asgard and grants her asgardian powers but only if she can pass the required tests to stay, she ends up failing pretty quick and thor has to rescue her but odin ends up banishing her from asgard anyway.

thor needs to be with sif tbh

IA so hard. I'm usually a die hard Natalie-stan but I spent the whole movie wishing she would gtfo.

ITA and the love plot was beyond stupid. They knew each other for like less than 24 hours and were already wanting to be with one another. Had me rolling my eyes.

You don't have to do screen tests.At most, a 'meeting' but not necessarily a screen test. Since Natalie Portman at that time would have been the biggest name going forward in Thor, she wouldn't have had to.

Actually, I read the Jane/Thor as Jane pretty much wanting to get some, and Thor probably just a guy to mistake lust for love easily and was in the throes of both. So the Jane/Thor thing worked for me - but yeah, I wouldn't have missed it if the movie hadn't gone there.

natalie is so pretty but christian bale is so over rated. He isn't attractive and his little rant made him seem like a major douchebag to me.

natalie is also grossly overrated tbh

im not sure i would like her as a person, she seems kind of pretentious, but she hasnt done anything to make me dislike her either really.

they are both talented actors imo. i just dont get the christian bale fan girl appeal

i can't stand him.

I like him but maybe that's because I've liked him for a long time and read interviews with him. Idk he doesn't seem all that bad from what I've read about him and his co-stars and fellow crew members want to work with him repeatedly. I don't think they would if he was a douche.
