Tel Aviv, New York — After crediting Nazi sympathizers in her first feature-length directorial effort "W.E.," Madonna is once again causing a similar kind of controversy by using very questionable images during her new world tour that kicked off last night in Tel Aviv.
During one section of the tour, Madonna is seen looking like Adolf Hitler and sporting a swastika on her forehead. In addition to that, flags including the Iron Cross are seen waving around. The Iron Cross was a well known military decoration of The Third Reich.
The stunned fans tried to shrug it off as yet another provocation by the Material Girl, who is well known for creating such controversy in order to get more press for her new projects. The question remains - did she finally take it too far?

though Madonna's own attention-whoring antics are certainly uncontested. Just... not in this instance.

and no she hasn't, it was obvious what she meant if u watch the video
beautiful.
aka gimme the tl;dw version
I got the impression that the symbolism was pretty literal. Nobody really knows her, they just project onto her whatever it is they hate in order to validate their hatred of her and the original issue. There's a few seconds dedicated to memorandums of people like Tyler Clementi. So possibly continuing the symbolism, this time applying it to homophobia.
That interlude is pretty amazing!
Now I can say it, I don't like it.
