Benedict Cumberbatch doesn't think he's sexy

Benedict Cumberbatch insists he's "barely the sexiest man in [his] flat", let alone the world.

The British actor was voted the world's hottest man in a newspaper poll recently, ahead of soccer hunk David Beckham and teen idols One Direction.

Despite the coveted title, Benedict remains coy about his newfound status.

It's only like this because he's the one basic white guy ONTD has designated as okay to call ugly half of the site descends with bitchy comments normally reserved for girls while the other half vigorously defends their right to fap over someone who not everyone finds attractive.

Like if ONTD wasn't so nauseatingly fangirly with just about every other allegedly good-looking, questionably talented white actor, there wouldn't be this laser-focus on Cumberbatch.

Tsk...you lost me at "questionably talented," Ygritte. Like, personally I really don't care if people like who I like or find people hot or not, but I am forever wondering why people rank talent so low on the list. Like, that's my #1 thing. You catch my eye by being an awesome actor. Second to that is being a nice/interesting person IRL. Looks are at least third. That probably sounds lame, but, well, there you are. So I don't get the HE'S HOT / NO HE'S NOT argument at all, on several levels.

Questionably talented? Check.

Being repeatedly given career opportunities his non-white/female costars would never have even when they were better actors? CHECK.

I don't know what genetically anomalous area of the world you are from where you haven't seen a truly physically ugly person, but this guy isn't objectively "genuinely, genuinely ugly" at all. You are projecting something onto him.

Plus, sexiness isn't solely about physicality, which has been said in every post about him, which you have been in.
