Her agenda is scheduled every minute - makeup, hair testing with her colleague Ethan Hawke, rehearsing new lines. Filming should begin at 11pm and continue until 6am. Despite the busy schedule, the young actress and singer found time to give the interview only to the Bulgarian media.
In her personal trailer that she and her family call her “Selenita”, and the presence of her mother Mandy, which accompanies every public appearance of her daughter. The girl who attracted throngs of fans elated Bulgarians in the windows of her hotel room in Grand Hotel Sofia seems like most of her fans with a pair of jeans, shirt, jacket and combat boots type. But the night temperature falling below Boyana about 6-7 degrees.
Despite her age and and frail appearance, the young Miss Gomez has behind it a long, successful career acting and singing - four films for the small screen and large, three CDs, 16 songs on soundtracks, 22 awards and 17 nominations in various categories. And it definitely shows that the girl is very confident and have success at it.
24: Selena, could you get some sleep after hundreds of fans chanting your name for days, under the windows of your hotel room?
Selena: Oh, they never bother me. But I was worried about the other hotel guests, the truth is that I was not prepared for this interest of Bulgarian fans on me. But I was a little worried about the children that ran between the cars to get to where I was. It is touching, and good to know that in Bulgaria, people know me and follow my work on TV.
24 hours: And the music. Many of the children were singing your songs at the hotel.
Selena: (Smiling) Yes, indeed. It was very good.
24 hours: It was great that you went to them and signed autographs.
Selena: Sure. That’s the least I can do for them. The problem is that the news came out and got increasingly more and more people (laughs). It was a little crazy.
24 hours: I have a list of fans who want you to do a show in Bulgaria? Probably thousands would love.
Selena: Really? Oh, with pleasure, but now I’m not on tour and I’m more focused on my acting career. Maybe later, I will think seriously.
24 hours: The film The Getaway is your first film for adults. Are you excited?
Selena: I’m very excited. Until now I was forced to shoot almost everything in the car. This is new for me. Ethan (Hawke) helps me a lot, he is working with a real party. I believe we have a great movie.
24 hours: The director, Courtney Solomon, does not skimp on praise you. He said you have a natural talent, and definitely have potential energy to become a true phenomenon of cinema.
Selena: I appreciate the words and I really hope I can do justice to all he said.
24 hours: In the film Monte Carlo, you played two characters simultaneously. Grace, the good girl, and Cordelia, the spoiled rich girl. Does Selena Gomez also has two sides? One that fans see and another when you’re alone?
Selena: Oh, no. I definitely do not have two personalities. I am what people see. I’m very simple. I love being with my family, friends. Nothing exciting.
24 hours: On Twiter you posted a picture of a restaurant in Sofia. Although your schedule is extremely tight, could you see something of Sofia?
Selena: I work at night and sleep and read the script during the day. I have no time for anything else. I hope that at the end of filming I can visit some of the monuments of Bulgaria. I have traveled to Sofia on the floor. And the studio views of the hills is incredibly fantastic.
24 hours: The script of The Getaway is fully developed in Bulgaria, as the father of your character was sent to work in our country. Is that correct?
Selena: It is true that my character lives in Bulgaria, but the script does not have details about their country. I, of course, before arriving here, I did my personal research on the Internet. Because I wanted to be better prepared.
24 hours: You have six dogs and they are all rescued from shelters. As you probably noticed, in Sofia, has a problem with stray dogs. Director Courtney Solomon wanted to adopt some, do you want to save an animal too?
Selena: For me and my mother is very sad to see abandoned dogs. Although, from what I’ve seen so far, they have a healthy appearance. (Looking at her mom) If she does not mind, I would like to adopt a dog from Bulgaria.
24 hours: Mandy, another dog?
Mandy: (Laughs) My husband takes care of six dogs, I think one more will not be a problem.
24 hours: Courtney (Director), what does it feel like to choose a star that is 19 years old, and to hear the screaming fans who love her all the time?
Courtney: I knew she would be popular in Bulgaria. What about her age, she grew much more than her age. She worked as an actress on TV and as a singer, and does it all since she was 9 years old. This is the definition of what is to be professional. Always ready, able to adjust to any changes in the script and the time in front of the camera and get into the skin of her character. She was born with talent. Moreover, it is very nice to talk to her, no frills and no poses. Many times I have to say about an actor is only for education but in the case of Selena, it’s true. (idk)
24 hours: Is she well developed in the transformation from a child star to a mature actress?
Courtney: Absolutely. This happened when she chose the role of Kid. Selena definitely has potential and I’m sure will go down in film history as one of the stars that many children never grow up.
24 hours: How is the chemistry of Selena on the set with an actor (Ethan Hawke) who is twice her age?
Courtney: Both have an amazing chemistry and dynamics, fighting, laughing, or angry. I’m kidding. In The Getaway, Ethan is much more than an actor. He was constantly involved in the script analysis. Even during the special recording we made in Ohio, where he attended a race of truth, he examined the life, habits and behaviors of drivers. And it definitely shows on screen. Usually I like to work with the Bulgarians. They are diligent, adaptable and try to do your best. This will continue to shoot in Bulgaria again.

Spring Breakers Already Debuting in Some 20 Countries
Paris-based Kinology has closed more than 20 territories on helmer-scribe Harmony Korine's "Spring Breakers," after unveiling a five-minute promo reel of the pic.
The James Franco starrer, currently in post, was picked up by France's Mars Distribution, Wild Bunch Germany, Spain's Vertigo/Wild Bunch, Australia's Icon Film Distribution, Scandinavia's Svensk Filmindustri, Middle East's Gulf Film, South Korea's Noori Pictures, Taiwan's Studio Solutions Group, India's WEG, Turkey's Chantier Films, CIS' Cascade and Eastern Europe's Blue Sky Media.
Mixing comedy, adventure and drama, the pic toplines Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Benson and Korine's wife, Rachel, as four college girls whose Florida spring break gets completely out of control after an encounter with a rapper called "Alien" (Franco). "Harmony Korine had precisely the right profile to capture the atmosphere and youth of 'Spring Breakers' and make it feel totally real," said Kinology topper Gregoire Melin. "It's very colorful and the script that Korine wrote is accurate."
Korine's most notable filmmaking credits include "Gummo" and "Julien Donkey-Boy" and he also co-wrote the script of Larry Clarke's "Kids." "Spring Breakers" is produced by Chris Hanley, Jordan Gertner, Charles Marie Anthonioz and David Zander at Muse Prods. Lensing wrapped a month ago in Florida.
Melin said he's in advanced negotiations to close U.K., Italy, Japan, Latin America. U.S. rights are repped by the producers who said they've received offers from two U.S. studios and an independent distributor.
Kinology's Cannes slate of English-language indie pics includes Michel Gondry's Bronx-set drama "The We and the I," which opened Directors' Fortnight, and Gilles Paquet-Brenner's English-language mystery thriller "Dark Places," starring Amy Adams.
