I'm so excited for the roadtrip!
'And we're the two best friends that anybody could have, we're the two best friends that anybody could have and we'll never ever ever leave eachother.'
LOL I can see Davos saying: "I’m a simple man; I like pretty dark haired women and breakfast food" tbh ^^. Well replace breakfast food with lobster and you got it right XD.
I just finished watching the episode and WTF was that "love scene" b/w Robb & Talisa? so weak. I'm not even a Robb fan but come on, the amount of female to male nudity on this show is ridiculous.
ugh iasfm the show creators clearly know how popular richard is with the female audience, they even said that's why robb was getting more screentime this season even though he's basically not in a clash of kings.....so why not throw us a bone?
I was so fucking pissed. They made a big deal about one of the guys getting nekkid this season and that was it?! Talisa's ass was in the way so I couldn't see shit, smdh.
I kinda enjoy the cruel, evil characters, though. They make the show entertaining. Better than watching Jon chase a wilding around in the snow epi after epi. Then again, I was a huge Viserys fan, too. God I miss that crazy man.
I can't with the producers being all "Robb was right he's all great and Ned 2.0". That would have been true for book!Robb, but certainly not here and certainly not the way you wrote that scene :o. What the hell?
Are they actually excusing the Talysa/Robb stuff? Lol ok. Ok, I'm done with that storyline. I'm not even going to touch it anymore. The nonsense is way too big for me to focus on it.
Asha was beautiful and perfect. Her speech about Theon as a baby was so intense and great. I will say it again (though last time I said it at Westeros everyone was NOOOOOOOOOOO) but Greyjoys are an awfully tragic house. They are meant to disappear. They have no place into a modern world and it's kinda sad somehow.
That's the first time this season, I didn't mind Ros. Yes it should have been Chataya but now the bottle of wine is openend better drink it anyway. And we all know we will never have Chataya or Alaya so...
B. and D. need to shut up about Cat. Period. And Stannis.
and the other Houses aren't?I mean, the Grejoys aren't my favourite House but they aren't worse than the Lannisters or the Targaryens for example, just dumber.
Robb and Talisa are so pretty to look at but so damn boring,I can't with them :/ too bad because I had great expectations from his storyline. Agreed about the Greyjoys.
The series is really doing a great job at making the Greyjoys' plot really interesting and emotional. I didn't much care for the Greyjoys at all while reading the books (except for ADWD).
I wish they worked as hard on everything as they work on that plotline / character dynamic.
i just watched the latest ep and i really need more now....there's just so many characters i feel like i'm watching a soap and 5 minutes each story is just not enough....
I feel like she was the only major character missing from this episode? They could've easily cut down Talisa's long ass story for a Sansa scene reacting to the Winterfell news
I have a lot of gripes with the last episode that have already been touched on so I'll just focus on the positive and say that the actress who plays Asha/Yara is FANTASTIC--I wasn't sold on her at first but she is killing it.
She is right?!!! I love her!! I stan the hell out of her!! I'm glad you came to this feeling :). I think she makes a terrific job with her character. She makes it true. I only have good things to say about the Greyjoys so far which makes me incredibly happy XD.
I hated her SO much at first, because she did this weird back hunch and neck cocking thing that seemed like such a predictable way to portray a "bad" person and veered on over-acting, but after last night I think I'm a little bit in love.
I think she's more Greyjoy like in the show than in the book. In the book, I often wondered where she got so snarky, since she grew up in the freaking Iron Islands, where everything is so grim. The show Asha is definitely more grim, and seems to be a more realistic Greyjoy in that sense.
I'm glad more and more people are liking her now, I thought she had something ~special about her because of how understated she played Asha/Yara during that first appearance--but she's definitely showcasing how right she is for the character more and more recently *-)
'And we're the two best friends that anybody could have, we're the two best friends that anybody could have and we'll never ever ever leave eachother.'
I may have read the books and all but lol I'm still weirdly worried for bb Davos somehow. Idk why.
I was like Davos, your Stannis crush is showing.
& I may or may not have a crush on Ron Swanson.Edited at 2012-05-21 01:03 pm (UTC)
it'd better be epic though

i loved tyrion and shae's though
And apparently stories about near drownings get Robb hot and bothered? IDEK.

But he's just making me want him dead so bad ... like super dead.
Haven't hated a character so much on TV in so long.

Honestly with Theon all we're witnessing here is the Napoleon complex paired with a HUGE case of Stockholm syndrome.
Agreed about the Greyjoys.

And what she HAS had has just been like her getting abused. The writers really aren't putting much effort into her story.
I saw people complaining because she called Theon a cunt but i think it made sense
Let me go finish the previous 7.
