NGL, Cook was wonderful tho, and he deserved to win. He made every song his own (even if it was through finding covers of the songs he was covering), with a method that, really, no one had thought of before David Cook (i.e. singing covers of covers). I adore Kris Allen the same way I adore all indie acoustic rock, but holy shit the other two can sod off for all I care.

Last time i checked a black guy won The Voice s2, a black/latina won X-Factor s1 and a dark-skinned latino won The Voice s1. And that's just in the past year or so. And American Idol already had black winners in previous seasons.
This isn't X Factor or the Voice though; Idol has a very conservative/white audience, and it shows in the limited types of minority contestants make it far on the show.
