as previously mentioned, Paris Hilton will be making her performance debut in Sao Paulo, Brazil on June 23 at the Pop Music Festival. What has now been revealed is she'll actually be spinning her very own DJ set. Paris will be making her public debut as a DJ in front of 30, 000 people. And yes, she'll be playing her own remixes. We got the scoop that Paris will be getting behind the decks herself next month for her first public appearance. Paris is performing a one-hour DJ set as the final act following Jennifer Lopez at the Pop Music Festival in Sao Paulo, Brazil in front of more than 30,000 people.
We did a little searching to find that in 2004 at WMC in Miami, Paris was actually awarded with ‘Best Celebrity DJ’ at The World Dance Music Awards.
According to industry insiders, “Paris had been spinning at house parties for friends for years. Now she is taking it up a notch and will be spinning some of her own remixes.”
Having close friends in the business and a deep passion for dance music has definitely paid off for Paris. We talked to another close friend of Paris’ who told us that she has been spending all of her time working with the best in the business.
“Paris has spent years at raves since she was a teenager and is always passionate about music. It almost seems that this is the perfect next step for her, if any woman was going to become the next top DJ it makes sense that it is Paris,” sources tell HouseMusicOrDie.com. “She is friends with a lot of the top DJs including Afrojack, Kaskade, Alesso, Tommy Trash, and Swedish House Mafia.”
We also found out that we are actually going to get a private in-person preview of what Paris has been doing and we cannot wait to hear it!
