Alligator is great. It's tough, but does taste just like chicken. I like it fried, but it is really great when blackened.

If you ever end up in New Orleans, go to Brennan's. It's one of the most well known and touristy spots in the city, but they have a wonderful turtle soup.

I had really good fried alligator at this restaurant Cochon in New Orleans. It Not sure if it is that good everywhere, but it was oustanding there.

A restaurant I was in once had alligator on the menu, which was random and bizarre seeing such a thing in Ireland. I wanted to order it purely so I could go, 'I'll have the alligator please, and make it snappy!'

I've got an evil squirrel that hangs out in my backyard. I swear to god, it's plotting my death. We've had stare-offs and shit. Squirrel wins every time.

I would try squirrel. Why not. I would think it would be gamey tho.

The weirdest thing I have ever eaten was fish sperm. I'm not usually an adventurous eater, but I was drunk. :-/ I don't recommend it.

Well you eat the whole sack that it's stored it. I had it on sushi, but apparently their are many ways it can be eaten. :-/

We used to have the cutest squirrel around here, she had like half a tail :/ We've actually had a lot of injured squirrels around lately someone must have traps or something, it's really sad.

I have a few squirrel feeders around my yard and had a guy with half a tail that used to show up all the time. He was so cute. I called him Short Tail. I wish they lived longer because I miss that guy.

I really don't know if I've ever had squirrel. It's highly possible, but I don't know.

Duck tacos are AMAZING. My boyfriend introduced me to a place in LA, Flying Pig. Oh my, the duck tacos there are some of the best things I have eaten in my life.

As for strange foods ... I live in Louisiana. I think a lot of what we eat is considered strange to a lot of people. Crawfish are the best thing ever in the world, though.

Where and how did you have it? I've had it where someone was off with the seasoning by just a small amount and that can completely ruin it. Fried crawfish (on a poboy or in a salad) pretty much can always be good.

I wish it wasn't so expensive right now. I could eat about ten pounds.

When they built an aquarium in the Mall of America, they put crawfish in the "petting pond." The next night, all of the crawfish escaped and went wandering throughout the mall. That is one of my favorite stories of all time.

Calamari is actually squid, fyi. But I understand lol. Oddly enough I can't stand fish or seafood but calamari is pretty damn good as long as you're not trying to eat the tentacles, 'cuz that's like trying to eat fried rubber bands. Does not end well.
