Model Sasha Pivovarova has given birth to a baby girl just two days after posting the first picture of her pregnant bump.
The Russian-born 26-year-old, who has yet to reveal her new baby's name, announced the birth via Twitter yesterday, telling her fans: 'It's a beautiful baby girl... :)'
It is a first baby for the Vogue cover girl and her 43-year-old photographer husband, Igor Vishnyakov.
Ms Pivovarova kept her pregnancy firmly under-the-radar, only announcing it in December last year, shortly before taking a break from modelling.
She manged to keep her expecting stomach out of the public eye, baring her baby bump for the first time on Friday just days before she gave birth.
The model released a black-and-white image of her pregnant self to Twitter fans, where she posed topless, wearing a floor-length skirt, which was photographed by her husband.
Ms Pivovarova gave birth on Mother's Day, just two days later.
She tweeted: 'Today is my first day celebrating mother’s day as a mommy! Happy mother’s day to all mothers around the world :) Love, Sasha'
Ms Pivovarova is a high-fashion favorite who has walked for Prada, Rodarte, Valentino and Chanel, fronted campaigns for the likes of Miu Miu and Giorgio Armani and made her acting debut in 2011 in the science-fiction thriller In Time, opposite Justin Timberlake and Amanda Seyfried.
The model, who is also a keen painter, is currently collaborating with Miuccia Prada to produce a book of her own artwork, including drawings, photography, and collages.
She is also illustrating a book for Karl Lagerfeld based on Russian fairy tales. She also created a sleepwear collection inspired by fairy tales for Gap, which launched in December last year.
The Russian native joins a string of new model mothers, with Lily Aldridge and Adriana Lima due to give birth any day, and Alessandra Ambrosio having just welcomed baby son Noah.

maybe she's calling herself a "mommy" even though she's still pregnant?
My fiance's sister was in a serious relationship who was in his 40s (she was in her early/mid 20s) and it was such a weird relationship. I also stumbled on a blog where the age difference was 39 years. 39!!!!!!!! I love the girl's blog but that's WHACK.
then 2 days later i went into labor. good times!
