Prince William, Duke of Cambridge and Harry, Prince of Wales participate in the Audi Challenge Cup at Cowarth Park in Ascot to raise funds for the charities supported by both Princes. Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge was on hand to show her support for her husband and brother-in-law, and the Royal couple also brought along their black cocker spaniel puppy, Lupo to the polo match.
As the sun came out today the Duchess of Cambridge opted for a light silk shift to watch her husband on the polo field. Teamed with a pair of towering open-toe wedges the ensemble proved a little impractical as the winds began to pick up.
Kate was seen dashing across the grassy grounds in Ascot struggling to keep to maintain her modesty as the £290.00 dress billowed in the breeze. The buttoned-up teal petal print shift, currently reduced to £199, came from Hampshire-based label Libelula.
After the competition, Will and Kate drove away in an Audi A7.

the press keeps trying to make her a style icon but shes not
she borrows clothes from her mother, and they look better on her mother.
look at Mary of Denmark.
Even look at Beatrice and Eugenie. At royal events, they dress appropriately. Its possible to be chic and age appropriate and still be modest/conservative.
She dresses like her mother in law who is 60+
