omg puppies My bb just passed away a couple of days ago :( She was only 4. Last week I noticed her lymph notes were super swollen so I made an app't with my vet for wednesday (b/c she was acting fine, was eating/drinking water, had energy and was updated on all her shots so tbh I didn't think it was super serious). And on Tuesday night everything started going downhill, she stared throwing up late in the evening/early morning and had diarrhea and was walking kind of wonky and not interested in eating, but I was like, k I'll just take her to the vet at 8am (her app't wasn't until 2pm). So I stayed up with her all night and just made sure she was getting water down and called out of work at like 6am on wednesday and when I was getting ready to leave my house around 7am to take her and I went to pick her up and as I picked her up she started to pee so I was like omg my poor bb so I went to put her in the bath (like w/e just do your business there bb) and she collapsed and all this blood starting coming out of her and I was like screaming and crying and I thought she was having a seizer or something so I was holding her and like trying to put pants on at the same time (bc i was like going to run out the door to my vets) and then her heart just stopped :( :( :(. My family came up right away (they live like a 90 min flight away & I called them like right after it happened) and we took her to the vets and they said that it was cancer, but like I did everything that I could have done and even if I had brought her in like a month ago it would have still have been the same outcome b/c this type of cancer progresses really fast in dogs (esp small dogs). I'm going to pick up her ashes on monday :( :( I'm still in kind of a shock tbh, I went to the grocery store the other day and I almost started sobbing bc I was picking up bacon and I realized that my bb wasn't there to enjoy bacon anymore (lol she loved bacon) this was my sweet princess she was so qt <33333
