Justin Bieber + The Lonely Island?



Biebs flew to New York on Wednesday for reasons unexplained, and it seems he and the TLI guys spent some time together.

We already know that Lorne Michaels had wanted Justin Bieber on SNL as host&musical guest this past season - perhaps with the season closing and time constraints being what they are they've settled for an appearance on a Lonely Island video instead?

This would be Justin's second SNL Digital Short - he featured in a movie trailer spoof with Andy Samberg in February 2011:

Biebs would join a list of TLI collaborators including Adam Levine, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Natalie Portman, Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga, Jack Black, and Michael Bolton.

yeah but that doesn't reeeeally mean anything - i mean justin's done sketches with them before, TLI has done lots of plain sketches with celebs/singers, too.

hmm maybe scheduling concerns came up and the digital short is in lieu of hosting, then - because lorne michaels himself confirmed that he was lined up to do it.
