Popular Soap Vet Actress Off Y&R



Eileen Davidson announced on her twitter that she has been fired from Y&R in the following tweet:

Personal Note: I cannot believe they are letting her go but keeping horrific characters like Daisy, Genevieve, Carmine, Tucker, Eden....but they get rid of Eileen?! I swear MAB is trying to tank this show or make it her own!


I know this is usually isntdaveone post and poeple will say, "You stole this" but I'm sure they will forgive me for once" and people will still talk about it on Friday.

Rumor is they're already in talks, and with the other surprising return announced today I think DAYS might get actually interesting soon.

I'm still floored too. I just cannot comprehend for the life of me how MAB is allowed to get away with ALL of this crap UNLESS Sony and or CBS actually WANT her to tank the show to where they finally have an excuse to cancel it.

I am going to start writing daily emails to them about why MAB needs to go and how SONY needs to step in at this point and say something and get rid of her. There is no clear long term vision...it's what ever her brain comes up with right now.

Not the world...just shitty writers. They keep fucking horrific people and dumb stories and hide behind, "We're still #1" when they ignore the fact they are #1 is because you're the only one one during that time slot, you're one out of four shows, and are on during a period of time that sucks!!!!

Secondly, when the head writer is the wife of son's creator...I imagine it's not fun to deal with that at all.

Ashley is one of the last characters I'd expect Y&R to get rid of. I haven't kept up with her storyline, but isn't she involved with the whole Restless Style and Newman's New Cosmetics Line thing? And it's YR man, the highest rates soap, they wouldn't be trying to destroy it would they?

On one hand I totally agree. She's an Abbott for God Sake's but it has happened before when they weren't treating her well (if I remember correctly) and also they have done NOTHING that makes sense with her character in ever.

The last thing that ever happened to her really was when she lost Faith because she found out it wasn't her child. Otherwise, she is a sounding board to everyone and nothing happens. Even when they cause problems between her a Tucker it doesn't make sense.

For the last couple weeks we have dealt with Genevieve asking Tucker if Ash knows about them and him saying he will tell them. And then the stuff about BON comes out and he ends up in bed with Harmony?!?! It would have made more sense if it was Genevieve and give Jack ANOTHER reason to hate Genevieve, ruining his life and now his sister's and cause more problems for Lily & Cane/Genevieve.

Which made ABSOLUTELY no sense at fucking all!!! It should have been Genevieve since they were playing that up for a while about their history.
