Community, Parks & Rec and 30 Rock To Receive Shortened Seasons Next Year?



30 Rock is close to being renewed for an abbreviated final season of around 13 episodes according to a report from Deadline.com.

The same report also lists Community and Parks & Recreation as being in talks to receive shortened season orders, although both remain on the bubble. In a special sneak peek of tomorrow's (May 8 ) Renew/Cancel Index "Oddsmakers" edition, we've got Community's chances at 85%-90% renewal and both Bill and I have Parks & Recreation at a 100% lock for renewal.

Short season orders suck...but it's more than NBC usually gives to its shows, so take small comfort in that.

Except Parks and Rec is superior to 30 Rock and Community so it will have more seasons and continue even when the other two hit the bucket.

Yeah, I love Parks and Rec and Community, but 30 Rock has been the best of the three this season, imo. Parks and Rec the weakest.

P&R has been a big disappointment to me this season. 30 Rock and Community have been way better, imo.

The most annoying part is, they're all critically-beloved shows. But no one is watching them. NBC puts some of the best programs on the air, and NO ONE SEES THEM.

I get so angry just thinking about it.
