Exclusive: Amber & Tasya's Romance Is Still On

Amber was spotted running errands in Los Angeles, CA May 5th. The blonde bombshell wore a long skirt, fitted jacket and frilly shirt as she stepped out with her girlfriend Tasya Von Ree putting to rest rumors of a split. Before picking up her longtime lover for a trip to a health store, Amber spent the morning with her pet pooch, Pistol, buying household essentials from Bed Bath and Beyond.

wait did she take the dog with her into the store or
allopatric 6th-May-2012 06:03 pm (UTC)
lol I went into a Nordstrom Rack store the day before and there was a dog in there
pieisgood08 6th-May-2012 06:03 pm (UTC)
I'm wondering that too because I was in Best Buy once and this lady walked in with her spaniel like that was normal.
guadalcanal 6th-May-2012 06:06 pm (UTC)
Weird? Although maybe the laws depend on the state? Or how much money you have?
vzylexy 6th-May-2012 06:16 pm (UTC)
From what I've heard from my coworkers, there's a fair amount of people that try to get dogs into the store by saying they're "service animals."
wakeupjulia 6th-May-2012 10:51 pm (UTC)
I worked at Target (only service dogs are allowed) and one time this lady brought her chihauhua in. It was in one of those purse bags, I didn't even realize she had it until I counted her items (she was trying on clothes) and said, I'm leaving my dog here, keep an eye on it, will you? And turned before I could even reply and tell her that no, I couldn't be responsible for her dog.

I was appalled. I love dogs and all but I couldn't help thinking just how blatantly rude it was, and what if someone was highly allergic? And it was entirely unfair of her put that on me, she was in there for like 20 minutes too. Ugh people sometimes idek
loveackshuly 6th-May-2012 06:04 pm (UTC)
I hate when people do that. I think it's so disrespectful.
mcra7x13 6th-May-2012 06:05 pm (UTC)
people come into my work with dogs all of the time i'm like is this even allowed. i work at a pharmacy and it's weird. if they ever shit in the store and i have to clean it up i'm quitting.
guadalcanal 6th-May-2012 06:05 pm (UTC)
what the hell guys, is this like normal?

can I take my golden retriever everywhere then because he's somewhat well adjusted for being named Loki
sugary_placenta 6th-May-2012 06:07 pm (UTC)
yeah, i didn't know that was permitted.

if i had known i'd take my dog with me everywhere!
ilikeandrewbird 6th-May-2012 06:17 pm (UTC)
in nyc, people take their dogs everywhere
normalchick 6th-May-2012 06:20 pm (UTC)
I've seen it happen quite a bit where I live. But it's always little dogs, never big ones. It's usually frowned upon but some people just don't give a shit. I guess my local Walgreens manager got mad because for a few months there was a giant sign on the front doors that said "NO DOGS UNLESS SERVICE DOGS! NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!!!!"

ugh i worked at a clothing store in the mall when i was in hs and dumb people would always bring their sniveling lap dogs in and i couldn't say anything. idk why.
squirrels_oh_no 6th-May-2012 06:37 pm (UTC)
The mall I used to work at used to have pet carriages for little dogs. For a buck you could dump your dog in a carrier like a net laundry basket on wheels and tootle around.
judgmental 6th-May-2012 06:49 pm (UTC)
I went yesterday to Macy's and this lady had an adult labrador, I swear
hippie_chick 6th-May-2012 06:50 pm (UTC)
Grocery store employee here. I see them with dogs all the time as if they're children, right there in the cart, or in a bag as if they're a fashion accessory and not an animal.

We have a sign posted on the doors that say No Pets but they do it anyway. People just think the rules / laws apply to everyone else but not them. Different if it is an obvious service animal. Businesses ARE allowed to ask, but most of the time, my management does not and encourages us not to even ask or say anything to the customer about it.

And there isn't anything saying service animals have to be clearly tagged / wear markings as such. I have a regular customer who brings her Yorkie because she has severe anxiety and he calms her down so he is a service animal, certified. He just doesn't wear markings / halters or anything. And from what I understand, you can pretty easily get halters / vests online, and forge a certificate and say your dog is a "service animal" anyway. :(

Yeah, tl;dr. LOL!

I'm allergic to dogs, so this would drive me crazy back when I worked retail.
ms_firecrotch 6th-May-2012 07:54 pm (UTC)
you're allowed to bring dogs in stores with you here in LA
piratewars 6th-May-2012 07:56 pm (UTC)
People come in with dogs all the time at my job too. There's this one guy who has this fat, gross dog that he doesn't even watch, he just lets the dog run around the whole store and it always comes up to us at the registers and runs into us
kimberwyn 6th-May-2012 08:04 pm (UTC)
people who need attention do this all the time...
tigirah 6th-May-2012 10:17 pm (UTC)
I worked in a vintage clothing store and we had a sign saying 'Dogs are welcome, their sh*t is not" or something like that. I had no problem with it but if the dog shat, I wouldn't let the customer leave until they cleaned it themselves tbh.
williammiller 11th-May-2012 02:40 am (UTC)
People do that at my mall all of the time. They'll carry them in those pet purse things and make a big deal about it. I don't get it.

I like Amber's fashion choice tbh. I love long skirts in the summer time.
winegums 6th-May-2012 06:20 pm (UTC)
ia, I like it too, it's kind of 40s.

Still a bit much for summer, though, with the blazer.
jezemel 6th-May-2012 06:29 pm (UTC)
It looks cute! I love the skirt.
lusushi 6th-May-2012 06:44 pm (UTC)
ia, I really like her style
wakeupjulia 6th-May-2012 10:59 pm (UTC)
I live in super hot weather and have major anxiety about showing my legs so long skirts are PERFECT for summer, I still can keep cool.

It's also great that they're back in so I can find them everywhere now :)
imnotasquirrel 6th-May-2012 06:08 pm (UTC)
that dress is tragic

also, because someone needs to ask this in every amber heard post: is she still an ayn rand fan?
of_silver 6th-May-2012 06:09 pm (UTC)
They're dressed like they're going to a Little House on the Prairie theme party.
