Late to this post...props to OP for putting together these lolzy photos.

although I was legit at the right age for the boyband craze of the 90s, I wanted no part of it. I didn't find any of those guys attractive, thought many of them were creepy (ahem Kris Kirkapatrick), and was way too cool for "contrived pop music" then (eventually I got over myself on the latter front...and now can appreciate some BSB/NSYNC songs retroactively).

BUT I am now stanning for 1D as an adult - I am not going into hysterics or anything, but I can appreciate how cute/catchy it is.

probably true. but i just love 90s culture.. the fashion, the music, cell phones and internet were not so huge then, etc. life was just better. idk.
