kurtvonnegut 3rd-May-2012 06:21 am (UTC)
they seem like the type of people who only read when there's a buzz book out aka eat pray love, 50 shades of grey, etc.
callme_morbid 3rd-May-2012 06:42 am (UTC)

"i ran home like maaaaaaaaaa i had sex!"

beatlesluv 3rd-May-2012 12:21 pm (UTC)
I want to know if it's common for guys to run to their parents saying the had sex. I just wouldn't have done that when I lost mine. Sex just wouldn't come up in my household, and maybe in their head I'm still a virgin. Dunno. Would you girl?
missheidimontag 3rd-May-2012 12:39 pm (UTC)
I definitely wouldn't.
deceitfulangel 3rd-May-2012 01:33 pm (UTC)
My step-brother legit called my step-mom MINUTES after losing his virginity to a stripper. I was like WTF, WHO DOES THAT?
r_a_black 3rd-May-2012 05:53 pm (UTC)
No, never. Old Hispanic parents, my mother would've started crying or something.
jeugd1 3rd-May-2012 05:24 am (UTC)
has anyone read Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, is it good?
crucified 3rd-May-2012 06:57 am (UTC)
I liked it a lot.
margeauxmarit 3rd-May-2012 10:33 am (UTC)
Im currently reading it. It is taking me forever to finish, not bc it is bad but bc I google almost everything about Lincoln's life after every chapter to see what springs from the truth. I'm obsessed with it!
improved 3rd-May-2012 05:26 am (UTC)
I was so scared I was going to see them all reading 50 Shades. Pleasantly surprised.
buttercup31 3rd-May-2012 06:53 am (UTC)
That's exactly what I thought I was going to find when I came in here. And I assumed they'd all actually like it. Especially Sherri.
cementedwords 3rd-May-2012 07:04 am (UTC)
I thought that too! Hahahaha. Thank goodness.
violue 3rd-May-2012 07:15 am (UTC)

executivehpfan 3rd-May-2012 05:29 am (UTC)

heure_actuelle books3rd-May-2012 05:30 am (UTC)
i just finished Secrets of the FBI and now i'm reading Sharon Tate and the Manson Murders. i'm waiting on Prague Winter to be available at the library.

that earlier post has me interested in reading about Sylvia Plath though now too. i'm looking at A Lover of Unreason about Assia Wevill but any good Sylvia Plath biographies?
livingsign Re: books3rd-May-2012 05:36 am (UTC)
you should read her unabridged journals
better than any biography i've read of hers
heure_actuelle Re: books3rd-May-2012 05:38 am (UTC)
yeah i was thinking that, too. thanks bb
la_oceane Re: books3rd-May-2012 05:45 am (UTC)
I hope Prague Winter is good, I met Madeleine Albright after seeing her speak with Bill Clinton and she was so interesting and intelligent as well as incredibly sweet.
vonlisbon Re: books3rd-May-2012 02:01 pm (UTC)

<333 the book suggester! Just type in some book you like/want to see more of and it will recommend similar ones.
baglady25 3rd-May-2012 05:30 am (UTC)

Sherri needs to read a 3rd grade geography textbook.
merenwen17 3rd-May-2012 05:32 am (UTC)
I'm pretty sure they all discussed 50 shades of grey, so yeahhh...

qwicksilva88 3rd-May-2012 05:37 am (UTC)
