Lady GaGa: 'My delusion and naivety got me where I am'

Lady GaGa has insisted that she has no regrets about her career.

The 'Marry the Night' singer confessed that she is glad no-one tried to rein her in or give her advice as a teen, as she believes her fearlessness is behind her success.


Appearing on The Conversation with Amanda de Cadenet, GaGa was questioned as to what advice she would offer her 14-year-old self if given the opportunity.

"Nothing! If I had known anything, this never would have happened. It was my delusion and naivety that brought me here," the 25-year-old explained.

Lady GaGa's interview on The Conversation with Amanda de Cadenet airs Thursday, May 3 at 11/10c on Lifetime.

The 'Born This Way' star recently revealed that she is writing her new album in quarantine, saying that she is obsessed with the process of making music.

I didn't say this was idiotic though. That case I was referring to her past comments from interviews like these.

In this case, she keeps giving these interviews and saying stuff that's hard to believe because it's hard to know if she;s telling the truth or not.

I pray that this new album is good. After the "failure" (I only say that because singles-wise and expectation-wise it didn't live up to the hype), I wonder if the public will be more reluctant into buying her album?
