Smash 1x14 "Previews" Promo





The cast and crew of Bombshell is ready to face its first audience but a major crisis involving Rebecca causes the first preview to fall short, prompting Julia and Tom to scramble in order to fix the show. Dev attempts to reconcile with Karen and Frank tries adjusting to Michael Swift's sudden return in his life while one of Ivy's dark secrets threatens everything.

If this show lasts through a second season, they should bring in Raul Esparza for the role of DiMaggio.

Also, without the pop numbers, no one would give a shit about Katherine McPhee/Karen's role in the show.

ICE with Julia, this ep. I understand that it's gonna be awkward with Micheal and everyone knowing she had an affair and fucked up her family, but for the sake of the show, they need Micheal since the other guy walked out on them.

Ivy effortlessly continues to be my fave and Derek an asshole.

I find Rebecca's assistant slightly tolerable because he has one line an episode. I still prefer Karen over Ivy. Ivy is a fucking asshole.

Karen is so adorable to me and honestly, I would cut Ivy if I knew her IRL. I was kind of rooting for Dev until tonight -- but the reality is, I was only rooting for him to get his shit together because I don't want Karen to go through that whole nonsense.

I really want to like her, but they're going out of their way to make her a villain, and I think that's so lame. They don't need a ~rivalry between the girls and they definitely don't need Ellis stirrin' shit--the conflict of the show should be that it's hard to produce a Broadway musical. Just leave it at that. Lawd.
