Brandy says her fake marriage killed her career :(


In a preview for Brandy's Behind The Music, the r&b superstar, actress, model, reality star Brandy Norwood opens up about her fake marriage with Robert Smith, saying "The lie about being married was the fall of my career".

Previously the singer told Tyra Branks “I felt the need to lie about it because at the time I was 23 years old, I had this good girl image...I felt the pressure of what people would think and disappointing little girls. The singer was outed by Smith, who she has a daughter named Sy’rai with, after she claimed she never really loved him.

Pretty much. She had one major hit and a string of moderate hits, and they were years before her "fake marriage". Her career died because she didn't have the staying power and her music didn't evolve with the times.

she got rear-ended, and it forced her car into the one in front of her, which sent that car into on-coming traffic and got the driver killed. Rebecca Gayheart's the one who actually ran over a kid.

Dude, no. She's irrelevant and useless, but it's extremely heartless to refer to what happened as "that time she ran someone over" when that's not what happened and she was not at all at fault or even remotely in control of the situation.
