Huh, of all people we would have never have guessed. "The Tree Of Life" star and The Playlist's Woman of 2011, Jessica Chastain is apparently is back in talks to star opposite Robert Downey Jr. in Marvel Studios' upcoming super hero flick "Iron Man 3."
Evidently Chastain was in some kind of talks, those fell apart and now "The Help" star and Oscar-nominated star is back in the conversation to play what is described as a sexy scientist every bit as smart as Tony Stark. Evidently there were scheduling issues with the Joel Edgerton/Samantha Morton movie, "The Disapperance of Eleanor Rigby" and Kathryn Bigelow's untitled drama about the hunt for Osama Bin Laden (referred to as "Thirty Dark Zero" in some corners of the Internet), but it sounds like they may have been resolved.
Directed by Shane Black, known for writing the "Lethal Weapon" series, new stars joining the "Iron Man" franchise so far include Ben Kingsley and Guy Pearce. Apparently Marvel had been meeting with actresses like Diane Kruger, Gemma Arterton and Isla Fisher, but that's now changing because of Chastain's apparent availability. Will she sign on? Stay tuned to see how this one nets out.

get that big paycheck girl
The code name for the filming is "Caged Heat."
Well ofc she must be sexy. You can't have a female me equal to Tony Shark without being sexy or she would have no value at all. rme
/sarcasm.
A PhD isn't earned by looking hot. It's earned by being an academic badass. And frankly, I'd take a sassy science conversation over looking hot any day.
(Sorry, that first gif was more sarcastic than I remembered.lol)
Although, TBH, since every female in any comic is inevitably sexy (I mean, they even overly sexualize Sin, gross), I suppose they consider it "sticking to canon". :P
what other kind is there
gemma would have made a good madame masque
do we really need a third Iron Man, most uninteresting superhero next to the Green Latern
girl, you want to talk uninteresting? direct your comments to mr. fantastic.
