tbh it wasn't as awful as I was expecting (nor was the Sansa scene, thank god), but it was still awful and unneeded. I mean at least the worst of it happened off screen but still, we heard that blood curdling scream and that was bad enough :/
idk, i kinda get why they included it - its Joffrey's way of showing Tyrion he can't fuck with him. it was hard to watch, but not as bad as i was expecting based on ontd comments.
The whole time I was just like "What am I watching? Was this in the books? Did I read this and then force myself to forget that I read it??" Unnecessary scene was unnecessary.
ugh this sooo much!! that scene was sooo nasty still though, it literally made me a little nauseous (but okay can't handle shit like that because I swear I CAN ALMOST FEEL THE PAIN MYSELF OMG OMG and I really thought he was going to shove it up her ass aaaaah D: D:)
I was about to scream aloud because I thought Joff was going to force Ros to sodomize that poor girl. I feel like I needed to wash the nastiness of last episode off of myself.
The change of having Roose Bolton on the field with Robb gave some tingly foreshadowing, and is good for non-readers to actually SEE now, while subbing Tywin in for Roose at Harrenhal actually made sense.
YES. I actually do like that change. this way they can establish the characters 'cause the viewers wouldn't otherwise get to know them from hearsay all the time.
I'm finding this show really frustrating to watch this year. Robb Stark hasn't been in the last two episodes and he gets a 5 minute scene in this one and that's it? And that's just one example. I hate the way they jump so quickly from one character to another. It makes it seem like nothing is happening, and it makes it impossible to connect with any of the characters.
I know. I don't know how to solve the issue...but the format really sucks. Maybe only concentrate on 2-3 characters per episode? I don't know. It's just frustrating.
Honestly you barely see Robb in the books :/ He's hot so of course we wanna see more of him on screen but honestly this is par for the course in the way that he's in the books.
lmao there's a guy at my work who loves the show but hasn't read the books - he's been complaining that this season is boring, imma just waiting to see how he feels tomorrow.
I felt underwhelmed after this episode...I was expecting a certain event to happen but I guess it will be next week.
Joffrey's torture scene went on too long and Mel's shadow baby reminded me of a Dementor for some reason. Also, I think it's very out of character for Littlefinger to declare his love for Catelyn like that. I literally exclaimed "What the fuck!" What the hell is happening to LF this season?
Harrenhal scenes were the highlight for me, and the five seconds of Brienne.
If I recall correctly, Cat came up with the idea to barter Jaime on her own, but last night LF planted the seed instead. I don't agree with that change either.
I don't know, LF is all about cunning and subtlety and the writers/producers are making his actions too overt.
i am still relieved this morning

We already knew that Joffrey is a psychopathic bully show.

i'm really starting to dislike this show tbh with shit like this
i was like JESUS PLEASE NO

the set was amazing
I loved the little moments where they were standing next to each other and I just wanted to hug them.
tyrion continues to be better than every1 else ever
fail for humanity, A+ for practicality. which is why he's awesome, lbr.
Plus I loved that he thought Arya was so practical dressing as a boy. I think he'd prefer her as a daughter over Cersei any day.

icu droppin your truth bombs, Bronn. icu.
lmao

It's like they're setting it up for LF to be playing her like a fiddle and I DNW!
