tbh, I wasn't really big on her when I had first heard Blue Jeans, but after hearing some other songs on her album, I realized that she's kind of refreshing in a weird way...like she definitely has that distinct voice that makes you think of Lana.
The gangsta Nancy thing has never made much sense to me either. As much as I like LDR's album, there's nothing "gansta" about her lyrics at all, since she never seems to have an identity outside of seeking the love/approval of some man.
Oh, and Nancy was a much better singer, but that goes without saying.
IDK. It's an improvement on her past performances but still not very good. There's something about her stage presence that I find terribly awkward. I'm kind of embarrassed for her if this amateur hour shit is actually considered "one of her best performances."
Perform 'Dark Paradise' or 'Summertime Sadness,' shit!! Or even 'Carmen'!
