The View Discusses "Pejazzeling" & Manscaping

The NYT recently addressed the trend of men getting Brazilian bikini waxes, and "pejazzling", in which rhinestones in the shape of "stars and dolphins are affixed" to areas on and around the male member.

The ladies of The View took up the topic today.

Boys: Do you manscape? Where/How much?
Ladies/'Mos: Do you like your men polished to a bright shine or prefer the jungle adventure?

fukd_by_sugar 18th-Apr-2012 01:22 am (UTC)
i agree. my current fuck buddy just shaved and i hate it because if he doesn't maintain it every day, then it's prickly.

Guys with hard wood flooring look awful. Guys with hard wood are okay.

Pejazzling? omg...
myxwill 18th-Apr-2012 12:33 am (UTC)
That sounds like one itchy vagina!
quizblorg 18th-Apr-2012 12:33 am (UTC)
There are few things less appealing than a shaved male crotch.
amethystcitrine 18th-Apr-2012 12:34 am (UTC)
I like it tbh.
quizblorg 18th-Apr-2012 12:37 am (UTC)
I guess you're not alone, since it seems to be quite popular nowadays (unfortunately), but I think it looks bland and asexual.
missile 18th-Apr-2012 05:55 am (UTC)
I like it too. /kanye shrug
Then again I have a pubic hair phobia.

i'll tolerate it but
amethystcitrine 18th-Apr-2012 12:34 am (UTC)
So much facepalming this morning.

I HATE that my parents know about my shaving habits and continuously bring it up. My dad linked me to a Yahoo health article that was all "shaving down there is so bad 4 u!!!" Thanks so much dad!

Also, why do ppl think others shave off hair to look like children? That is the last thing I want my SO to envision when we are having fun. Personal preference, ffs.
whosebatman 18th-Apr-2012 12:38 am (UTC)
I know, my friend says he likes ladies with a bit of a bush because he doesn't want to feel like he's having sex with a 'child'.

I told him the only reason I shave is keep it neat for my boyfriend. Meh.
amethystcitrine 18th-Apr-2012 01:27 am (UTC)
Like seriously, I guess they just heard it from somewhere so they start thinking the same thing too, and it just perpetuates itself?
abcdlovelife 18th-Apr-2012 12:42 am (UTC)
idk why people are thinking of children in the first place. that is a problem right there.
x_funkymonkey_x 18th-Apr-2012 12:50 am (UTC)
ok how do your parents know about that? That's a bit disturbing...

I shave all the way too. I don't like any hair down there, it gets too itchy! I haven't gotten any complaints yet so I'll keep on doing what I do
ljubavirakija 18th-Apr-2012 12:34 am (UTC)
Why would anyone want to suck a cock with rhinestones?

Alert: Choking hazard
myxwill 18th-Apr-2012 12:34 am (UTC)
Or have it stuck in you. That shit would hurt.
prettywitch 18th-Apr-2012 12:36 am (UTC)
not if they were embedded into the cock.
goldenmeans 18th-Apr-2012 12:36 am (UTC)
IKR? They should bedazzle them with Lifesavers. That way it's delicious and you'd know if he was getting any on the side since they'd shrink.
yououghtaknow 18th-Apr-2012 12:36 am (UTC)
Same with people who pierce there penis I would be afraid I would rip it out
rctshack 18th-Apr-2012 01:39 am (UTC)
i think it's up above where the pubic hair normally would be... not on the actual cock... the logistics of going from soft to hard might make them all fall off anyways.
shanny_w 18th-Apr-2012 03:31 am (UTC)
he can pay for my dental work
whosebatman 18th-Apr-2012 12:34 am (UTC)
The word 'Pejazzling' is cracking me up. Is that a real thing?!

My boyfriend trims his stuff up, but he's a total hairy beast in general and I love it. His who chest area is a jungle of it's own xD I dunno if I could take a hairless dude to be honest...
quidscipio 18th-Apr-2012 12:40 am (UTC)

My boyfriend's got the lion's mane, too. He trims up down there for me, which I very much appreciate, but I love his beard and chest hair. :)

yououghtaknow 18th-Apr-2012 12:35 am (UTC)

piratesswoop 18th-Apr-2012 12:41 am (UTC)

there's nothing that turns me off more than giving a BJ and getting a hair in my mouth

I think I hate my bf. Maybe not hate. But strongly dislike his attitude lately.

Help? I think I just need people to talk to about this, I'm always afraid to talk to my friends cos they all know him so well :(

abcdlovelife Re: OT but this is kinda TMI post amirite?18th-Apr-2012 12:39 am (UTC)
wut did he do?
green__desire Re: OT but this is kinda TMI post amirite?18th-Apr-2012 12:39 am (UTC)
Dish! Seriously if you feel that way just get rid of him there are so many people in my life that have bad relationships that they just stay in for comforts sake and it drives me up a wall. I can't even imagine being around someone I can't stand of my OWN accord.
duckduckcaboose Re: OT but this is kinda TMI post amirite?18th-Apr-2012 12:41 am (UTC)
If it's an attitude thing then maybe you can work through it but if it's a personality thing, it might be time to call it quits...
astormatsea Re: OT but this is kinda TMI post amirite?18th-Apr-2012 12:43 am (UTC)
i feel this way lately about my bf too. i don't have really sound advice..cause i haven't figured it out either. but pretty much everything he does bothers me and idk if it's the end or what.

sorry bb :/
damnsonyouhigh Re: OT but this is kinda TMI post amirite?18th-Apr-2012 01:07 am (UTC)
it's time to break up.
loveackshuly Re: OT but this is kinda TMI post amirite?18th-Apr-2012 01:28 am (UTC)
I've read up on this thread and I'm not the best with relationship advice, but I do hope everything works out for you either way, bb. ♥
dusttogold Re: OT but this is kinda TMI post amirite?18th-Apr-2012 02:37 am (UTC)
I am literally about to dump a friend of mine because he's a douche and I can't take it anymore. Same reasons- he's insensitive, makes rude jokes all the time, makes sexual advances when he knows I have a boyfriend. This friend is an ex turned friend. He was a decent guy but I swear, it's like a flip just switched.
shagmebaby Re: OT but this is kinda TMI post amirite?18th-Apr-2012 10:50 pm (UTC)
i was in a relationship with a boy for five years. i moved in with him about two years ago and found myself liking him less and less, but i thought i still loved him and felt like i couldn't break up with him anyway because of the living situation. that was the most miserable i've ever been in my life.

i ended up cheating on him, then breaking up with him, then finding the most amazing boy i've ever met! we've been dating eight months now and i've never been happier :) don't stay with someone who makes you unhappy. there are great guys out there and it's not worth staying in a relationship that stresses you out. relationships are all about support and making each other happy. good luck girl <3
green__desire 18th-Apr-2012 12:37 am (UTC)
It's a good tatic, I always am immediately attracted to sparkley things. Make it taste like Jolly Ranchers instead of a musty rats ass flaps and you got yourself a deal.
