Can someone, in short, explain to me the 7 Day Theory?

I don't know if I'm positively or negatively mind-blown by the hologram.
dirtylook 17th-Apr-2012 10:17 pm (UTC)
Well, Tupac was a fan of the italian philosopher Machiavelli who had the idea of faking his own death to fool his enemies and then come back alive. Tupac's last album the 7-day-theory was influenced by that a lot. So that many people now believe he did fake his own death and he will come back. Because of the album title people think it also has something to do with the number 7. Many believed he would come back 7 years after his death. I hope that helps and wasn't too long!

That was perfect. :) Thank you,

An interesting theory, I must say.

his monologues are always so painful. i don't necessarily mind him as an interviewer but watching anyone except conan, craigyferg and sometimes jfal do their show openings is embarrassing imo.
myhipusername 17th-Apr-2012 11:22 pm (UTC)
lol why? jkl is probably the only one that doesn't bore me tbh
exromances 18th-Apr-2012 03:25 pm (UTC)
i think he's cute during interviews. i like that he doesn't ever really pause for gratuitous joking or try to make anything about himself.
wauwy 18th-Apr-2012 02:49 pm (UTC)
The opening monologue is such an odd throwback and unnecessary nowadays. idk why late-night hosts do them anymore. Leave that shit back with Carson.

i kind of agree, i'm not even sure why i included conan and jimmy in my exception list. i like them but the only person's monologue/entire late night show i think is unique is craig's. lovin your current cho default bb, he was my favorite part of that shitfest movie.
wauwy 18th-Apr-2012 03:35 pm (UTC)
why tyvm. I'm certainly never going to see it. I never saw the first three and I'm proud of it, lol.
numbedtoe 17th-Apr-2012 10:37 pm (UTC)
I laughed.

that hologram shit kinda creeps me out ngl.

Crying @ hallucinazzations.

That hologram shit was bananas. Like, watching it on youtube, you can clearly tell it was a hologram. But if you were there and it was totally unexpected? Then I heard that they CGI'd the whooooole thing because Tupac never performed Hail Mary live, let alone in full 360-degree turns. Then add in that "he" was co-performing with his friend, and that I can remember when he died, and I get all choked up and bewildered.

yeah, mte on this. my emotional fascination was why i couldn't stop watching the video over and over again, made me think of my childhood and my somewhat estranged brother bc he was a big fan and idk. it was awesome but also a sad sort of mindfuck.
