The Best Male/Female Friendships on TV
Is anyone else totally sick of the Harry Met Sally lameness that rears its ugly head in every single television show where heterosexual characters of the opposite gender hang out together? The New York Times certainly is, judging by their recent op-ed about platonic relationships in pop culture, but that hasn’t stopped the entertainment industry from constantly turning friends into lovers. In fact, they’re so common that they’re starting to make us long for more tension-free guy-on-girl friendships. These relationships are few and far between, but they’re out there, and we’ve got a list of our favorite examples on TV. Tell us yours in the comments. src
( some of this list is ridonkulous tbhCollapse )

AND I'm watching Veronica Mars right now, lol. I liked her friendship with Weavil too. Him and Wallace were awesome.

Another two-some I hope doesn't become a ship
One of my favorite Pete and Myka moments.
definitely love leslie and ron - unlike liz and jack, they have/show respect for one another. same with don and peggy (and joan). i hope they don't go down the relationship road.
i sort of want to add jeff/britta on here, but i can't tell whether they like or hate each other.
IDK if I ship them; but, right now, I'm enjoying their friendship
One of my guy friends go over to my house all the time that he's practically my brother. I call him big brother in my language.
I luv my best friend, she's awesome
I don't have any sibs, but my one cousin is the closest thing I have to a brother.
Also, the writer must have missed the terrible mess of the last season the Guild when they tried to push Codex/Zaboo from Codex's side. Ugh, no thank you.
Olive and Emerson on Pushing Daisies!!!
they were soulmates imo
all the rest = bs.
